About this Chic Retreat
L'A Propos is a stylish and luxurious B&B right in the centre of Provence's ancient town, Orange. This newly renovated chic retreat has a luscious park where tall palms create pockets of shade and the heated outdoor pool invites guests for a swim in all weather, although Orange is on average one of the warmest towns in France. The interior is simple, elegant and chic. White walls and tiled floors contrast with dark contemporary furnishings and light woods in these spacious rooms and colourful art and prints tastefully adorn the walls. This friendly B&B is a great spot from which to explore the ancient town and Vaucluse.
Accommodation
L'A Propos is an intimate luxury B&B with just 4 suites (50 to 55 sqm) which can fit up to 4 people each. Large windows let in the bright sunshine and rooms have original decorative features, a simple & light palette, tiled or wooden flooring and elegant furnishings. The design is simple & charming with a modern touch and a clean minimal approach to decoration.
Each room has individual furniture with blonde wood and white walls featuring in the Chambre Levant with its private terrace overlooking the flourishing gardens, brooding dark grey and black tables, frames and chairs creating a sleek contemporary feel against the white walls of the Zephyr suite, and calming country greens in the Sonara suite. All rooms have bathrooms with separate WCs and come with air-conditioning, internet, flatscreen TV, Nespresso machine and bathrobes.
Activities
Orange is an interesting ancient city. The 2000-year-old Roman theatre is well worth a visit, as is the Triumphal Arch of Orange, which have been designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The theatre is one of the most well preserved of its kind and operas and other events often take place here, a truly incredible experience.
For those who want to relax back at the hotel, there is a heated outdoor swimming pool set in the gorgeous L'A Propos gardens and a solarium as well as a spacious 18 sqm terrace. There is a lounge with a tea salon, a wine bar and a brand new library.
Dining
L'A Propos is a B&B and breakfast is served in a lovely little dining area with a huge image of the awe-inspiring Orange Roman theatre. The newly-opened restaurant has a large choice of dishes and meals can be taken in the lounges or out in the garden in the summer months, and there are plenty of places to eat in the local area.
Rates
Rates at L'A Propos are per room per night and include breakfast and 1 carpark space per room. A deposit for the first night will be charged when a reservation is made. L'A Propos is open all year round but is closed on Sundays and Wednesdays from September through to March.

Cancellation policy
For a booking of 3 nights or less, 100% of the total cost will be charged if the cancellation is made less than 6 days prior to arrival. For a booking of over 3 nights, 50% of the total cost will be charged if the cancellation is made less than 20 days prior to arrival and 100% if the cancellation is made less than 6 days prior to arrival. No shows on the day of arrival will be charged 100% of the total cost of stay including all services booked when reservation was made.
