About this Chic Retreat
Luxurious, refined and private, La Maison du Paradou is a small boutique hotel which nestles at the foot of the Alpilles in the small village of Paradou, neighbouring St Remy de Provence and Les Baux. The 17th-century postal inn has been thoughtfully renovated by Nick and Andrea Morris to create a unique chic retreat close to Arles, Avignon, Aix en Provence and Marseille.
The very best of old and new has been combined to make your stay unforgettable. The warmth with which you are welcomed is rare and the en-suite bathrooms are large & luxurious. From Egyptian cotton sheets to designer silk fabrics, antique furniture and beautiful art to luxuriously equipped limestone bathrooms, from poolside to dining table, all the ingredients are present to make La Maison du Paradou a destination holiday hideaway.
Accommodation
Each room at La Maison du Paradou is totally individual and is named after its secret colour. What all rooms have in common, however, is the height of comfort along with leading-edge technology: crisp luxury sea-island cotton sheets changed on a daily basis - air conditioning - en-suite bathrooms - exclusive bath products, towelling robes and slippers - TV with touch-of-a-button access to the complimentary library of CD´s and DVD´s - Telephone and Internet. Unlike many boutique hotels in France La Maison du Paradou includes a sumptuous breakfast and there is also an honesty bar where guests can help themselves.
Activities
La Maison du Paradou now has 2 swimming pools! One slightly salted and the other chlorinated. Le Paradou is ideally situated in the stunning countryside and warmth of the South of France painted by Van Gogh and Cézanne. It has the Camargue to the South with its famous white horses and plentiful archaeological sites all around. Tennis, golf and cycling are all near La Maison du Paradou. There are also numerous vineyards to visit and wines to taste!!
Dining
There is a large choice of local restaurants & bistros to choose from as well as Nick and Andrea's famed dinner parties to which guests are invited. The local bistro (3 mins walk) is fantastic serving simple & delicious food.
