About this Chic Retreat

Monceau is a recently renovated luxury apartment with 2 bedrooms situated just off Boulevard Haussmann in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. Situated on the 4th floor (with lift) it is accessed through original wooden doors leading into a cobbled courtyard of a beautiful period building. The spacious living room has four large French windows which fill the room with light and look onto the charming street below. Velvet sofas, parquet flooring and marble fire place add to the elegance of this room which also has a sofa bed and table for more formal dining. An Apple laptop and Bose i-Pod dock are included in the weekly rental as well as a plasma TV and multi-zone DVD player. The kitchen is compact and a little narrow but fitted with quality appliances throughout (Miele washing machine, separate dryer, dishwasher, oven and hob, large American fridge, microwave, magimix toaster and kettle). Not suitable for families with young children.

Accommodation

One bedroom has a queen-size bed whilst the other has two single beds which can be joined to form a king-size bed. All of the beds have newly upholstered headboards and valances and both bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe and hanging space for clothes. The bathroom has been totally renovated with carrera marble and classic chrome fittings featuring a bath with a wall-mounted shower.

Activities

Visit the nearby Musée Nissim de Camondo or the Musée Jacquemart-André, both are housed in extraordinary private mansions and offer a rare insight into the lives of Paris' bourgeois families at the beginning of the 20th-century.

Dining

Gourmandises will love exploring and savouring the smells of the nearby Marché Lévis, one of Paris' most famous market streets, home to many bakeries, mouth-watering patisseries, chocolate shops and fromageries. Parc Monceau is just a short walk from the apartment, making it the ideal spot for a picnic.

Rates at Monceau are per week based on 4 people. EUR 100 per week charge for one extra person.

Cancellation policy

If it is more than 2 months before your arrival date, a 50% deposit is required to book the apartment & the balance will be due 2 months before your arrival. If it is less than 2 months before your arrival date, a 100% payment is required to book the apartment. In the event of a cancellation, ALL sums paid as of the date of such cancellation shall be forfeited unless we are able to re-rent the Property for the same period (or part of said period), in which event the new amounts paid, less a 20% administrative fee will be refunded to the client. Please note that any change in rental dates becomes a new rental arrangement.
