All but one of the 8 rooms look onto the pretty and peaceful garden and the renovated folly (Petite Folie) which was once used as a bathhouse by its owners. The bedrooms are all located on the second and third floors and they all have a private en-suite bathroom with either a shower or a bath. There is no lift or room on the ground floor making access difficult for people with disabilities. The rooms are different colours and styles; Chez Rene is a mix of old & contemporary, La Chambre Bleue is a mix of 18th-century and modern, Le Kiosque is a cosy room which oozes charm and romance, La Chambre Mauve is a favourite for couples and La Directoire has 2 oversize twin beds (with the possibility of adding a 3rd).  Aveda amenities are coming to La Petite Folie soon adding to the overall experience. 

Three of the apartments are in the 14th-century house next door which is one of the oldest in Honfleur. The house has recently been renovated and the latest, largest and perhaps most gorgeous apartment (Le 3) is now available. Included in each apartment; flat screen TV with cable (mostly French channels), Hi-Fi, refrigerator & microwave. L'Anis has been decorated in Kenzo materials and has a bedroom and a pullout sofa bed in the sitting room. It can comfortably accommodate 4 people. Le Bel Rouge has an open design with a gorgeous (non working) 16th-century fireplace and is on the 1st floor with the bedroom at the garden side of the house. There are curtains separating the bedroom and the main sitting areas and this apartment is perfect for a couple looking for privacy and romance. The  apartment, Le 3 on the top floor, is very large with lots of light and is comprised of two stories. French breakfast can of course be delivered in the apartments on request at the time of booking and is included for B&B guests. Please note there is no elevator and if you have heavy bags, avoid rooms on top floors (Bleue, & Mauve) as well as the Apt Anis and Le Trois. Perfect for couples planning a romantic getaway La Petite Folie has a no children policy in the Bed and Breakfast & Le 3 and Le Rouge apartments. Children over the age of 10 are accepted in the Apartment Anis. WIFI is available and there is an internet café within 50 metres of the house. The two newest apartments which opened in September 2011 are Le Gernez and Le Priscilla.  Le Gernez is formerly the studio of Paul Elie Gernez 1888-1948 and where he completed the majority of his paintings. Approx 50m², exquisite architecture, luxurious & private. An easy staircase leads you to a large, sunny room with high-ceilings and a huge window overlooking a fabulous classified garden; part of the Patrimoine de France.  Le Priscilla is perfect for a couple and is a lovely two bedroom apartment that opens onto a classified garden can accommodate up to 4 people (children over 10 accepted).  Warm colors, modern mixed with antiques a gorgeous place for a short break or long term stay this is a lovely apartment; actually a small house on three floors.
