About this Chic Retreat

Padaste Manor sits on the west coast of Estonia on Muhu Island. Encased by parkland and sea this small luxury hotel has breathtaking surroundings & views. The extensive renovation project of Padaste Manor took 15 years to complete with the last phase of the project (the Manor House) opening in June 2008. The result is a beautifully presented luxury hotel with the charm, ambience and service that only a privately owned hotel can provide. In August 2009 Pädaste Manor was awarded 5-star status, the first country hotel in the Baltic States to achieve this accolade.

Accommodation

Fourteen of the 24 rooms are in the Manor all of which have been designed with comfort and pure escapism in mind; heated wooden floors, large beds and particular attention to detail in each one of them. The suites have their own wood-burners and the log baskets are re-stocked every day. State-of-the-art Technology hasn't been forgotten; guests can enjoy a personal audio system with hundreds of titles to choose from and WIFI is available in all of the rooms. For those looking for a romantic break, and perhaps to read some poetry then book room 15 wihich comes with a Poetry Loft open to the stars. Rooms 1 and 6 have a bath and shower whilst 5 and 7 have large walk-in showers with no bath. The luxury rooms in The Carriage House each have their own private balcony enjoying views across the sea and the park.

Activities

Padaste Spa is so different from the conveyor-belt spas where no personal attention is given. Here many of the treatments are based on authentic Muhu herbal recipes & traditions. The lotions & potions used in the spa are freshly prepared on a daily basis using only natural ingredients including mineral-rich seaweed & hay. Not a global, or synthetic brand in sight! Be prepared to jump into the freezing cold tub naked after a session in the steam room!

Dining

Some of the finest Baltic dining can be experienced at Alexander restaurant which opens onto the Winter garden with views over the park. The Seahouse terrace is open throughout the Summer months for lunch and on starry nights the terrace is open for after dinner drinks. Padaste Manor now has a dedicated bar with a cosy fire and potent, but delicious Martinis!

Rates

Rates are per room per night and include all taxes and services. From November 2009 until February 2010 Pädaste has its annual seasonal closing.

Cancellations up to 3 weeks prior to planned arrival: no cancellation fee. Cancellations up to 1 week prior to arrival: 25% cancellation fee. Up to 72 hours before arrival: 50% cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled shorter than 72 hours before planned arrival will be fully charged.
