About this Chic Retreat
AfroChic Retreat is the latest in the successful Elewana Afrika group of luxury safari lodges. Blending the best in luxury hotel charm with the natural beauty of the surroundings, this stunning villa-style hotel has the added bonus of being located right on the white sandy beaches of the Indian Ocean. With beautiful landscaped gardens, a stunning outdoor pool, and gazebos right on the beach, this is a great place for an indulgent trip to Kenya.
Accommodation
All of AfroChic Retreats 10 suites have large double beds with beautifully-crafted wooden bedframes, works of art in themselves. Rooms are decorated in an elegant style which also takes inspiration from the tropical African surroundings. There are a variety of room types including an executive and junior suite. Rooms have stunning views of the ocean from their private balconies, and the Queen of Sheeba Room looks out over the pond and gardens. Some ensuite bathrooms have both bath and shower, and two have whirpool baths and great views to enjoy while enjoying a relaxing soak. All rooms have satellite TV with DVD player, fans, air-conditioning, a mini-bar, laundry and valet service and some have a sofa bed.
Activities
AfroChic Retreat has a stunning outdoor swimming pool with massage jets and just over the lush landscaped gardens lies the inviting white sands of Diani Beach. AfroChic's two-level gazebo is a pleasant spot to relax, take a massage or dine in front of the ocean. Keen golfers can take to the 18-hole Leisure Lodge golf course close by and there are plenty of activities available on the beach from kite and wind-surfing to scuba-diving in the coral reefs and horse riding. For those who want to luxuriate in this relaxing retreat, the Afya personal wellness program has a variety of treatments including reflexology and detox programs. There are beach and bush safaris available to Kenya and Tanzania national parks with AfricanMecca and AfroChic Retreat is a great starting point or resting place after an exciting safari trip.
Dining
AfroChic Retreats tasty à la carte menu has a contemporary international menu featuring Chinese, Italian, French, Indian and Swahili dishes and the chef is happy to take requests. With so many places to dine, from indoors in the dining room to alfresco in the gardens or looking out to sea under the beach gazebo, dinner can be a romantic affair. So close to the Indian Ocean, seafood and fresh fish are of course an integral part of the meal and as guests lounge in the sun, complimentary snacks are served throughout the day.
Rates
Rates at AfroChic Retreat are per room per night based on 2 people sharing. Rates include VAT and all meals. A 3rd adult bed will be charged at between EUR 60-70 depending on the season and a third child bed will be charged between EUR 30-40. AfroChic Retreat offer free airport transfers for all bookings of 4 nights or more.

Cancellation policy
Bookings cancelled or reduced between 90-45 days prior to arrival will be charged 25% of the rate per night. Bookings cancelled or reduced between 45-22 days prior to arrival will be charged 50% of the rate per night. Bookings cancelled or reduced between 21 days or less prior to arrival or no shows will be charged 100% of the rate per night.
