About this Chic Retreat
This rural boutique hotel is very close to the port of Mahon on the east of Menorca and just 15 minutes from the airport. Menorca is still one of the most unspoilt and pretty islands in the Meditteranean. Sant Joan de Binissaida is surrounded by 12 hectares of gardens with a large open-air swimming pool. This small charming hotel is divided into two areas; the main house and the old stable barn. Ecology and sustainable tourism are key factors at Sant Joan de Binissaida; the hot water in the stable barn is heated by solar power, the outside lights are solar powered and the bathrooms are equipped with a water saving system. This eco-chic boutique hotel recycles wherever and whenever possible.
Accommodation
The main house at Sant Joan de Binissaida has 6 bedrooms and the stable barn has the remaining 5 double rooms. The rooms are spacious and light and combine soft stones and wood with modern and antique furniture. The result is fresh and uncluttered. All rooms have internet, satellite TV and luxury beds and bed linen.
Activities
In addition to the lovely swimming pool, there are plenty of coastal paths to enjoy either on foot or by bike. Children will love running around the garden. Massages and treatments can be arranged for guests by prior appointment.
Dining
San Joan de Binissaida has a restaurant which was totally renovated in 2008. The chef combines traditional Minorcan cooking whilst incorporating the latest flavours and trends. The wine list is very selective and also includes local wines. Guests can enjoy their food on the terrace, under the pergola or inside during the cooler months. The menu also includes a childrens menu and many of the ingredients used are grown on the estate. The restaurant is closed on Monday evenings all year round and Sunday evenings during the Summer months.

Rates at Sant Joan de Binissaida are per night, in double occupancy (breakfast buffet included), 8% VAT not included. Extra bed: EUR 40 + VAT per night (breakfast buffet included). 2 nights minimum stay is required during high season.

Cancellation policy
Prepayment of 25% needed to confirm reservations. If cancellation is received 4 weeks before arrival 75% of the deposit is refunded, 3 weeks 50%, 2 weeks 25% and less than 2 weeks the deposit is non-refundable.
