Riyad El Cadi is one of the original luxury riads in Marrakech. Spread across 7 traditional Moroccan houses the spacious rooms and suites feature authentic Moroccan details and fine antiques from Arabia. Expansive roof terraces, salons, patios and alcoves are perfect spots for watching the beautiful sunsets, reading, playing chess or enjoying afternoon tea. The Blue House is a house within a house and can be rented as a whole for 4 people. It has its own courtyard, sitting room and private terrace making it the ideal choice for two couples or a family of four. Riyad El Cadi has a brilliant team of staff who will make your stay in Marrakech unforgettable and who take great care in providing attentive but discreet service throughout your stay.
Depending how long your stay in Marrakech is depends on what you might like to do. If staying for 3 nights or less at Riyad El Cadi we recommend staying within Marrakech itself: explore the souks, the medina, the new town of Gueliz and visit Les Jardins de Majorelle, a 12 acre botanical garden and French artist Jacques Marjorelle's artistic landscape and canvas. It is one of the most visited places in the Red City and was bought by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge in 1980 after they first discovered it in 1966 during their first visit to Marrakech. Opposite the entrance is a fantastic designer shop with lovely glassware, candles and other irresistible goodies! If staying longer then take a trip to the Atlas Mountains for the day or take a day trip to the coastal town of Essaouira. An authentic hammam experience is a must and Riyad El Cadi has their very own. Cooking courses can be arranged.
There is no formal hotel bar at Riyad El Cadi as Samir and Hassan will look after your every need wherever you are, whether it is mint tea on the roof terrace or a cocktail on the patio. The chef has a great team in the kitchen who have put together a mouth-watering selection of authentic Moroccan dishes and Internationa favourites. During the warmer months the restaurant is set up in the patio under the fragrant citrus trees and in a romantic setting inside during the cooler months. As all of the dishes are freshly prepared and made to order, booking is recommended and preferred. Room service and snacks are available until late meaning late arrivals don't need to go to bed hungry.
For your own little house within Riyad El Cadi book the Blue House. This hip hideaway is a house within a house and can be rented as a whole for 4 people. It has its own courtyard, sitting room and private terrace making it the ideal choice for two couples or a family of four. The rooms and suites are spread across the 7 houses, some have their own terrace, balcony or patio. We like the Chaouen Suite with its painted 18th-century woodwork and working fireplace. The Palm Suite on the first floor, is large and has its own sitting room with fireplace and library which leads onto a private balcony. The China Suite and Piscine Room can be connected to make a very large apartment. Aleppo Room is on the ground floor and can be either a double or twin room. Not all of the rooms have bathtubs so if showers are not your thing, please ask at the time of booking. For the ultimate Riyad El Cadi experience book the Master Suite giving you your very own spacious apartment with a spacious bedroom, living room with fireplace and private courtyard as well as a private roof terrace on the 2nd floor with sun loungers.
