About this Chic Retreat
Riad Olema is a charming luxury spa hotel in the centre of Marrakesh's Medina. With two spacious courtyards in contrasting traditional eastern and contemporary styles, a spacious roof-top terrace with large comfortable sun beds and stunning views stretching out to the Atlas Mountains, a luxurious bar lounge, an in-house spa and a beautiful mosaic swimming pool, this chic retreat is the perfect place to sit back & relax. The vapours from the spa and hammam linger in the air and there is a resounding feeling of calm in this luxury haven, just 10 minutes walk from the colourful marketplace of Djemaa el Fna Square.
Accommodation
Each of the Riad Olema's 6 rooms and 2 suites are individually styled, blending traditional Moroccan style with a simple & contemporary design. There is a strong emphasis on luxury & comfort. All rooms have 2-way air-conditioning, LCD flat screen satellite TV & DVD player, complimentary WIFI, a queen / king size bed, bathgowns, and an en-suite bathroom. The bathrooms have chic modern fixtures, with a bath and/or shower.
Activities
Riad Olema has many relaxation areas, from the swimming pool and solarium to the in-house spa, and it is easy to wile away the day in this chic retreat. However, there are also many exciting places to visit in and around the area, including Marakesh's Medina, the Palmeraie, Essaouira, and the Ourika valley, and Riad Olema organise a range of trips to interesting local areas. Gueliz is particularly good for shopping, with stunning carpets, ceramics and linens on show. Golfers will be spoilt for choice, with many courses nearby, and the hotel will organise all fees and transport. There are cooking courses on request, so guests can impress their friends back home with the gorgeous local dishes. Active guests can take to the dusty roads on quad bikes or buggies, explore the amazing scenery on horse, or rent a 4x4, and there are a range of watersports available at Lake lalla Takerkoust.
Dining
Morroco's mouthwatering traditional cuisine is expertly cooked by Riad Olema's chef. Food is served on the terrace, on the fountain patio, or in the dining room, depending on the weather. Morrocan tajines and couscous are served alongside Mediterranean food and a daily barbecue.
Rates
Rates at Riad Olema are per room per night and include VAT, breakfast, hammam access and WIFI. Local taxes will be charged extra. Tax Tourism Promotion is EUR 1 per person per night, City Tax is EUR 1.3 per person per night. A deposit of 50% will be required, the outstanding balance to be paid in cash or by credit card directly to the riad. An extra bed for a child is charged at EUR 20 per night, and is free for children under 4 years old.

Cancellation policy
30 days before arrival the deposit will be refunded less EUR 50 admin fees. Between 30 - 8 days before arrival 50% of total reservation will be required. Less than 8 days before arrival 100% of total reservation will be required.
