About this Chic Retreat
Riad Farnatchi is a luxury riad that has been created out of 3 small riads in the heart of the oldest part of Marrakech. Houses have stood on the site for many centuries and some of the walls of this luxury riad go back over 400 years. The current owner, a retired award winning British hotelier, spent 2 years converting it into a holiday home for his friends and family. He only decided to change it to a boutique hotel when approached by the ex manager of one of Marrakech' most respected small luxury hotels who suggested that it would fill a gap at the very top of the luxury riad market in the Medina of Marrakech.
Accommodation
Riad Farnatchi has the feel of a beautiful, highly individual, private house, but the facilities of a world class 5 star boutique hotel with 5 stunning suites. All suites have hand-made beds, Egyptian cotton sheets, air-conditioning, central heating, satellite TV, stereo cCD players, direct dial phones, modem points and stunning interiors. Riad Farnatchi can also be taken over exclusively for house parties.
Activities
Riad Farnatchi has a traditional white marble Hammam which is free for the use of guests from 4 until 7pm everyday, and at other times by appointment. Wonderful gommage, massage and beauty treatments can be arranged. The 7m pool has an underwater jetstream for swimming and is heated in the cooler winter months.
Dining
Riad Farnatchi has a candlelit dining room with seating for 12 and a Dining B'hou (Logio), also with seating for 12. There are 2 sitting rooms and 2 sitting B'hous. A roof garden with abarbeque, sun loungers and dining tables also accommodates 12 guests comfortably.

Rates are inclusive of the following: Breakfast Free use of the Hammam between 4 and 7pm Complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day Home made canapés before dinner Complimentary fruit, pastries and mineral water Complimentary transfers to and from the airport Complimentary Moroccan slippers and Djelaba for use within the house and to takehome as a souvenir. Christmas and New Year rates are based on a 5 night minimum stay.
