About this Chic Retreat

At the heart of the Marrakech Medina in the historical quarter of Diour Saboune is Riad Cocoon.  An oasis of calm this 5 room luxury riad focuses on peace and relaxation resulting in the cocooning of all guests that stay.  The contemporary architecture and design high lights the collection of fine arts and antiques hidden behind closed doors.  Nothing is average at Riad Cocoon, the lighting, the ambience, the fabrics and furnishings have all be carefully chosen to take the guest on a journey beyond the norm.  It took three years for Bernard Grimaldi, award-winning film music composer and Corinne Povels, Communication Chief Executive to complete their Moroccan dream and create a world where music, textiles, furniture, materials and objects have been carefully chosen to blend together to provide this cocooning environment.

Accommodation

All of the 5 suites feature air-conditioning and have an en-suite bathroom with bath or shower.  Our favourite room Nirvana has a large double bed, private terrace, satellite TV and solarium with beautiful views at dawn and dusk.  The main different between the rooms is the selection of colours, all of the rooms are stunning and feature personal iPod with dock with exclusive Cocoon Playlists.  

Activities

Ever since her encounter in Bali with Yogini Linda Marani, owner Corinne Povels has applied a practical philosophy to life. Her holistic approach to well-being is strongly inspired by the orient where the body is viewed as a whole and this philosophy is carried through the treatments at Riad Cocoon where your body, mind and spirit are treated as one.
