About this Chic Retreat
L'Avenida Hotel opened in March 2007 and is now one of the coolest new boutique hotels on the island. Set within a classical 100 year-old mansion house, only 5 minutes from Soller's main square, L'Avenida offers hip metropolitan living in a truly spectacular mountain setting: sumptuous retro-chic interiors, funky bathrooms and big squashy beds. Jaw-dropping views from most bedrooms. Impeccable and charming service. Nestled in the citrus groves of the Tramuntana mountain range on the west coast of Mallorca, only 25 minutes from Palma, lies the idyllic town of Soller. Famous for its stunning scenery, abundant oranges, and its iconic 19th-century wooden trams, Soller features in the top 5 'must see' places to visit in Mallorca.
L’Avenida is available for exclusive rental throughout the year, but is particularly suited to large family gatherings and groups of friends in the low season months when prices offer great value for money.
The mansion house can sleep up to 28 people, including four fold-away beds, across 12 double rooms and suites. You can choose between fully catered or self-catering options.
Accommodation
L'Avenida has 12 luxury rooms and suites. All feature air-conditioning, flat screen TV (with Spanish, English and German stations), DVD player, internet access, and mini-fridge. Many rooms at this chic boutique hotel have wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. All bathrooms feature contemporary ceramics and luxurious showers. The bathrooms of the 2 Luxury Suites have a roll-top bath and a double shower. Guests staying in the Luxury Suites can also choose private in-room dining by arrangement. All rooms are non-smoking. Guests may smoke in the Lounge Bar and Bodega Bar. A DVD library of films is available from reception.
Activities
At L'Avenida relaxing is simply effortless. In the secluded courtyard garden you can cool-off in the pool, chill-out with a book under the shady gazebo, or top up your tan on the sun terrace. Pool-side service includes an all-day bar, complementary towels, cold flannels, and chilled water-melon served at your sun bed. Aromatherapy, massage, guided walks, cycling, tennis, golf, helicopter island tours and yacht charter can all be organised by the hotel.
Dining
For gourmets there is L'Avenida Bistro with al fresco dining, the Bodega Bar for wine tasting and the Lounge Bar for fresh coffee and cakes. Not forgetting cocktail time around the pool, private dining in your suite, and the mouth-watering breakfasts. The Lounge bar is the place for pre-dinner drinks on its balcony terrace, or for escaping the heat of the day to read the daily papers or relax with a pot of fresh coffee and some home-made cakes. The intimate Bodega Bar is home to the hotel's wine collection (some 70 pedigree labels from Mallorca and mainland Spain), fine whiskies and cognacs. This is the ideal place for late night tipples and cigars.
Rates
Exclusive rental rates: Prices include daily (bedroom only) maid service, one bed-linen and towel change mid-stay, all utility costs and local tax. Security deposit: 1000 Euros in cash on arrival. Booking terms: 50% deposit on date of booking, balance 6 weeks prior to arrival. Booking deposit and final payment non-refundable due to any form of cancellation at any time following booking. Payments to be made by bank transfer only. Breakfast is 10 EUR per person. |

Cancellation policy
For bookings cancelled up to 30 days prior to arrival, there will be no surcharge. Booking cancelled between 14 and 30 days of arrival will be charged 50% of the total number of room nights originally booked. Bokoings cancelled within 14 days of arrival, no shows or premature departures will be charged at full rate for all room nights originally booked.
