About this Chic Retreat
Hidden Pond, a member of Orchid Resorts & Escapes, is a few minutes down the road from the charming village of Kennebunkport on the Maine Coast. Hidden Pond is part of the Orchid Worldwide Marketing Group but it isn't a boutique hotel, nor is it a small luxury hotel. It is so much more. Here self-catering is taken to a new level and is given a totally new meaning; hand-milled soaps, Frette linens, concierge service, yoga classes give you a glimpse into the experience at Hidden Pond.
Accommodation
The only thing you need to think about..is getting here. Everyone else has been thought of for you, taking the weight off your shoulders as soon as you walk through the door of your cottage. There are 14 cottages, all decorated by a different designer. Some are modern, some more traditional and others have a fresh seaside feel. What they all have in common is a kitchen, a porch, fireplace, floor to ceiling windows and exceptional attention to detail. They are all so gorgeous we don't have a favourite.
Activities
Maine is a magical place in the Summer with so many exhilirating things on offer; Summer theatre at the Arundel Barn Playhouse, sea trips on the Rugosa, a converted lobster boat to name a few. Kennebunkport is full of boutiques, galleries and stretches of beaches keeping even the trickiest traveller happy. The Spa is a tented affair set amidst a grove of birch giving an air of authenticity. The menu of treatments is endless and includes Refloxology and Mother-to-be massages. Hidden Pond has a resident Water Colour Specialist who gives art classes to guests or learn how to grow your own salad and to tell the different between daisies and dahlias.

Five star dining for the foodies or laid back clam shacks for those wanting a barefoot chic experience are just some of the options available in nearby Kennenbunkport.
Rates
Rates are per cottage per night at Hidden Pond. The rates include a bakery basket delivered to your cottage, afternoon tea and unlimited use of Hidden Ponds amenities. A 7% lodging tax is additional.

Cancellation policy
A 50% deposit is needed to confirm any booking with the full balance due 30 days before arrival. Deposit is refunded (-$50 admin fee) with 30 days notice. No exceptions are made to the policy so travel insurance is always recommended.
