About this Chic Retreat
Cranley Hotel is a small luxury hotel in London's fashionable South Kensington, a short stroll from some of the city's greatest museums, shops and restaurants. In keeping with the three 19th-century townhouses which make up this chic city retreat, interiors are decorated with Frette linens, Farrow & Ball colours from Chinese blue and plum to mustard and stone, antique furniture and period paintings, while hi-tech additions ensure that all of your every need is seen to. The welcoming staff are attentive yet discrete and the concierge will be happy to organise tickets to shows, dinner bookings or just the little romantic touches such as champagne & roses that make your stay extra special. Wonderfully located for those in London for business or pleasure, Cranley Hotel is a few minutes' walk from Gloucester Road and South Kensington underground stations and Exhibition Road, Hyde Park and Notting Hill are close by.
Accommodation
There are 39 rooms & suites at Cranley Hotel, from the opulent Junior Suite and Four-Poster Rooms to the no-less stylish Superior Single Rooms, each individually styled with Farrow & Ball colour schemes and fine linens and draperies. The Four-poster Rooms have gorgeous handcrafted beds, and the Junior Suite and Executive King Room have beautiful king-size half-tester canopy beds, all fitted with hand-stitched Irish linens. Brass fittings, mahogany antiques and oil paintings feature throughout, and rooms also have LCD TVs, mini-bars, telephones and WiFi. The en-suite bathrooms have either baths or showers and some are appointed in marble or limestone with Penhaligon bath products, bathrobes, towels & slippers. The Junior Suite has a particularly spacious bathroom as well as a separate living room and a private garden patio, while the Executive King Rooms offer views over South Kensington and the Four Poster Rooms look out to Chelsea.
Activities
With South Kensington and Gloucester Road tube stations right around the corner, London is at your fingertips, but there is much within walking distance of Cranley Hotel to catch your interest. A short walk will take you to the V&A, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum on Exhibition Road and walk a little further and you will come to Hyde Park and the Serpentine Gallery. For shopping, head down to the Kings Road or visit Sloane Street in Knightsbridge for top designers from Prada to Katharine Hamnett and one of the most famous shops in London - Harrods. For those who want to exercise, the concierge can arrange a gym to suit your needs and for concerts, they can arrange tickets to the nearby Albert Hall or any of London's best theatres and concert halls. After a day out exploring, relax in the cosy living room.

Enjoy a Continental breakfast served to your room or choose from the a la carte menu, while snacks and other meals can be arranged on request. Some of London's finest eateries are just around the corner for lunch and dinner. All guests will receive a complimentary glass of champagne & canapés between 7-8 pm to start the evening off in style.

Rates at the Cranley Hotel are per room per night and do not include VAT or breakfast. Continental breakfast is GBP 15 per person. Extra beds in the rooms are charged at GBP 40 including VAT per night - only available in some of the rooms. Children stay free of charge unless they need an extra bed. Cots are complimentary. Babysitting is available if booked in advance.
