Le Tresor is a boutique B&B where guests come to relax and enjoy the rich culture of the surrounding area. This little gem is perfect for a week-end away or longer and the owners will look after you beautifully. Le Tresor has a beautiful garden, library & honesty bar and the 5 rooms are large, light & spacious.

Accommodation

Le Tresor has 3 beautiful bedrooms and 2 spacious suites decorated in soft pastel colours. Each one captures the French character of the Languedoc region including red floor tiles, polished wood floors & marble fireplaces. The charming views include the distance hills or the peaceful square with its little church. The suites are perfect for families.

Activities

The surrounding area around Le Tresor includes a thousand years of history with churches and castles that still stand today. Le Tresor is just 20 minutes from Montsegur where the Cathars surrendered to the French troops - those that escaped are thought to have taken the 'Holy Grail' with them. Carcassonne, the finest example of a medieval fortified town, is less than an hour by car.

Lake Montbel is only 5km away, a perfect place to go swimming, sailing, walking, or sunbathing.

Dining

During their stay at Le Tresor, many guests comment on the delicious breakfasts and Tilly's dinners which she prepares Friday to Sunday. The honesty bar has a great selection of local wines. There are many restaurants nearby in Chalabre, Mirepoix and Carcassonne giving guests the choice of some of the very best of regional French cuisine.

Rates

Rates at Le Tresor are per room per night and per week for exclusive rental. The entire cottage is also available on a nightly basis with a minimum of 3 nights. Le Tresor cooked breakfast is charged at EUR 9 per person. Children under 2 are free and travel cots can be provided.
