La Maison is a magical and luxury b & b in the village of Blauzac, near Uzes, in Provence. Guests will fall in love with La Maison de Blauzac not only for its charm, but for its simplicity and natural style. Here you will find simplicity at its most beautiful. The house, whilst old, is classical at the same time as being trendy & chic and the views are dazzling.

Accommodation

Richard Goullet - famous interior designer - was given a free hand at La Maison de Blauzac when it came to the design and decoration of this luxury b & b. Soft tones and colours have been used throughout the large 5 rooms. Each of them have something unique and quirky; Ferrara has glazed lavastone tiles with glass hand basins and Sasmayoux has exotic Burmese lacquers and paintings. Cuzco (our favourite and where we stayed) has scarlet tones and linen backdrops. This beautiful suite has its own private terrace and panoramic views, it is also suitable for a family of 4 as it has 2 convertible bench seats providing 2 single beds. The light streams through the room during the day creating a magical atmosphere.

Activities

La Maison has a spacious library and sitting room with piano where guests can relax out of the sun. Pierre, one of the owners is a wonderful singer and after a few glasses of local Rose will delight you with his dulcet tones. The walled swimming pool is in the garden and is where guests can relax and soak up the sun in the summer months. Uzès, which is 10 minutes away, offers a myriad of walks, heritage sites and cultural activities.
