About this Chic Retreat
Chateau Les Carrasses is a stunning 19th-century wine domaine and Chic Retreat in Languedoc, South of France. “This Cinderella of the south was once overshadowed by gorgeous Provence and the brash Côte d’Azur. Blending the facilities and standards of larger luxury hotels with the privacy of a luxury villa rental and the service of a boutique hotel, Chateau Les Carrasses has managed to create the idyllic holiday experience for families.
Accommodation
The 28 suites, apartments and villas at Chateau Les Carrasses are all furnished in an elegant country chic style and modelled on the original 19th-century buildings. Many of themm have private gardens and pool with far reaching views. The owners have thought of everything whilst building this magnificent property, always with the guest in mind. Expect fully-equipped kitchens, TV and DVD players, satellite TV, iPod and docking station, WiFi, air-conditioning and top quality bed linen and towels (including pool towels) as standard. Several of the apartments are adapted for disabled use.
Activities
Chateau Les Carrasses has beautiful and extensive gardens featuring a stunning infinity pool, floodlit clay tennis, boulodrome and barbecue area, conservatory, orchard and olive grove. The infinity pool isn't just any old pool it is a huge 20 x 8 metres complete with massage jets and a beach effect so you can lounge in the water. Surrounding the pool is a large sun terrace, hot tub and loungers.
Children are very welcome at Les Carrasses. During the high season there is a children’s Summer Camp (subject to a minimum number of children) 6 days a week, with qualified staff and a wide range of activities and events, with the emphasis on the outdoors. In the grounds there is ‘HQ’ – the daytime base of the club with a large range of toys and games, as well as a TV with DVDs and a Wii. In the evening HQ is open to all children. Babysitting can be arranged. To ensure you can enjoy all the food you like there is a Personal Trainer available who can put you throughout paces during your stay. Golfers will relish the fact that there are four courses within an hour of the Chateau and you can buy a ‘golf pass’ of three rounds for €150.
Dining
The bistro and bar serve Mediterranean tapas complemented by the best regional wines and classic cocktails which can be enjoyed throughout the day by the pool, in the salon, the tasting rooms, or on any one of several terraces.

Rates at Chateau Les Carrasses are per night for a minimum stay of 3 nights or per night for a minimum stay of 7 nights.

25% deposit needed to confirm your booking. Deposit is refunded up to 3 months of your stay.

BY CAR
The high-speed A9, A61 and A75 motorways connect the Languedoc region to the rest of France and Europe. Coming by car is now a very practical option, and many of our guests now arrive in their own cars.

BY TRAIN
The fast train or TGV is a wonderful way to travel and goes all the way to Béziers, just 15 minutes from the Château. (Pick up can be arranged with hotel)
