About this Chic Retreat

Bon Ton Resort is the perfect little chic retreat located just 10 minutes from Langkawi airport and 5 minutes from Pantai Cenang beach. The antique Malay villas are scattered around the swimming pool in the midst of a 100 year old coconut plantation and overlook a Lotus lagoon. The Bon Ton experience is one of the most authentic and tranquil on the tropical island of Langkawi with the houses dating back to the 1900s. For a simple and stylish style and warm personal service Bon Ton is the place to come.

Accommodation

Romance, family fun or a holiday with friends, Bon Ton is a hip hideaway for everyone to enjoy. All of the 100 year old villas are private and contain tea/coffee making facilities, toaster, fridge with complimentary water, sarongs and local slippers, TV/CD/DVD player. Each of the villas are unique and vary in age - perhaps our favourite is Laguna - it is 120 years old and has an air of grandeur about it. The wooden bath with its views across the lagoon, is big enough for two and there is a large sunset balcony, ideal for enjoying a few cocktails before supper. The Cahaya Villa is the most recently renovated and with 2 bathrooms and separate living room with day beds, it can easily sleep a family of 5 or a group of friends. Silk is also great for children with 2 queen beds in one room and 2 single beds in another.

Activities

The swimming pool is a few steps from all of the houses and the beach is just 5 minutes away by car.

Dining

Many guests swear that the food at Nam Restaurant at Bon Ton is the best on Langkawi. Rod Liddle from the Evening Standard says that it is his favourite restaurant on the planet where 'the food and setting are sublime'. The Chin Chin Bar also serves some of the best cocktails on the island and has an extensive 'duty-free' wine list and a great tapas menu.

Cancellation policy

For cancellation giving less than 7 days notice, cancellation fee will be one night’s accommodation. For cancellation giving less that 3 days notice, cancellation fee will be two night's accommodation. For cancellations giving less than 24 hours notice, for a ‘no show’ or cancellation during confirmed stay dates cancellation fee will be the cost of the total accommodation booked.

Peak Period (15th Dec – 8th Jan)

  • For cancellation giving within 14 – 20 days prior to arrival, 50% of the total accommodation booked will be charged. 
  • For cancellation giving within 7 – 13 days prior to arrival, 75% of the total accommodation booked will be charged.
  • For cancellation giving within 7 days of arrival or no show, 100% of the total accommodation booked will be charged.
  • If guest departs earlier prior to check out dates, 100% of total remaining accommodation booked will be charged.
  • Submission of your credit card details means that you have understood and accept our cancellation policy and allow us to charge your credit card for the applicable cancellation fee.
