About this Chic Retreat
The Chili Beach Boutique Resort is a small luxury hotel on the silky white sands of Malhada Beach, Jericoacoara. This 7-room gem can be rented by room or exclusively and has an alluring style combining tropical beach design with contemporary furnishings and luxurious finishings. With an outdoor pool & lounge area with ocean views and an open-air restaurant serving up a mouth-watering Italian menu, guests will find all they need for a relaxing stay, and all are invited to enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne to bring in every sun set. The tropical gardens offer shade during the day and there is a wellness centre for a spot of pampering. The friendly staff and knowledgeable owner, Enrico, are always to hand with advice on the local area and will ensure a comfortable retreat where guests can do as little or as much as they choose.
Accommodation
There are 4 suites and 2 bungalows at The Chili Beach Boutique Resort, each individually decorated with a thoughtful use of colour. Bright natural hues stand out against the all white suites where wooden furnishings and tiled flooring, terracotta vases, flourishing blooms and a few well-placed contemporary pieces create a relaxed, luxurious feel. Choose from the spacious Seaview or Parkview suites, each with large double beds decked out in crisp white Egyptian cotton linens and down pillows, soft fluffy towels in the large en-suite bathrooms, flat screen LCD TV & DVD/CD players, Satellite, iPod docking stations, complimentary WiFi, mini-bars and optional butler service. Each suite has a private tropical garden or patio and some have open-air showers.
The Parkview Bungalows have 1 or 2 bedrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen, living room, terrace and private garden, perfect for a more independent beach stay, or simply relax out on the private deckchairs and let the helpful staff look after everything.
Activities
The Chili Beach wellness area offers beauty treatments, Ayurveda & physiotherapy massages, manicures & pedicures for a pampering treat before a dip in the outdoor pool with a complimentary aperitif watching the sunset.
Guests can while away the day in the tropical gardens and sunbathing on the decking or for a more active day, embark on a daytrip to the nearby mangroves and take a canoe down the river where herds of sea horses can be found. There are a range of trips on offer by boat, quad bike, buggy, Land Rover, or on one of the Chili Beach's horses. Sand board down the dunes in Tatajuba or take a longer trip on a 2-3 day off-road adventure to Lençóis Maranhenses and trek across the dunes before a cooling bath in the freshwater lagoons.
Malhada Beach is great for swimming and the hotel offers windsurfing & kitesurfing lessons, while experts can rent equipment and head straight out to the surf. Guests can also take part in Capoeira and Maculélé lessons.
Dining
Breakfast is served until 11.30, perfect for late risers, with a large variety of fresh tropical fruits and juices, breads, jams, yoghurt, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs to order, cereals and tapioca. The outdoor restaurant also serves a classical Italian menu for lunch & dinner, from light soups and snacks to fish, meat and pasta dishes and a variety of risotos. After dinner, enjoy one a Brazilian cocktail or two under the stars.
Rates
Rates at Chili Beach Boutiqe Resort include breakfast. An additional 10% service tax and 5% government tax applies. Children up to 8 years old can stay for free when sharing a room with 2 adults and additional beds can be arranged in the Parkview Bungalows but not in the suites. A 50% prepayment is required to confirm the reservation with the balance to be paid on arrival or 10 days prior to arrival on special holidays.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations made 1 day prior to arrival (midday of the day before arrival local time) will receive a full refund of the prepayment (50% of the total cost). Cancellations made after this time will be charged 1 night including all taxes. For special holiday packages and public holidays including Christmas, new yeaar, carnival and Easter, the balance must be paid 10 days prior to arrival in addition to the prepayment. Cancellations made within 10 days or less prior to arrival will not be refunded.
