Accommodation
The intimate 1-bedroom casitas are set in tropical gardens around a large pool terrace, with a bold mix of colours against cool white-washed walls, the signature style of the Cuixmala casas. Luxurious day beds allow guests to lounge outdoors, and each has a dining terrace and TV room. King-size beds are fitted with fine linens and bedrooms open out to the terraces. The 2/3-bedroom casitas have large living spaces inside and out, with colourful woven rugs and numerous floor-to-ceiling doors opening out to the gardens creating an airy, open feel, while quiet corners allow guests privacy when desired. Luxuriate in the beautifully-tiled bathrooms, each with showers & bathtubs.
The Cuixmala villas, Alborada, Torre & Puma are all fully-staffed with a cook, butler & maid, and are extremely spacious with private pools, plenty of terraces in the gardens and large living rooms & dining areas and Alborada has a Media room with TV & library. Private spaces & bright communal areas intertwine perfectly and the bold Mexican arts & crafts create a delightful ambience filled with light & colour. Panoramic views, luxurious finishings and personalised service will leave guests feeling like royalty.
The real cherry on top is La Loma, Cuixmala's palatial master house where guests can relax in day beds in the cool-white rooms with their high ceilings and majestic pillars, and outside in the fairytale courtyards. The whole villa is topped by a colourful domed roof and look out to the lagoon beyond to see crocodiles, exotic birds & zebras. The master bedroom has its own terrace with Jacuzzi and views of the sea can be enjoyed from the en-suite bathroom. There are 3 further deluxe rooms and 6 private bungalows sprinkled through a lush tropical garden with views to the sea and lagoons. Guests can enjoy use of the library, media room, 3-terraces, saltwater swimming pool, living rooms & dining rooms and palapa dining area on the beach and sit back while the staff of butlers, chefs, waiters, maids, gardeners, pool staff and a laundress take care of everything. All of Cuixmala's casitas have Satellite TV and DVD players and air-conditioning in the bedrooms while the villas also have WiFi. En-suite bathrooms have organic bath products including insect repellent and towels and bathrobes are provided.
Activities
Cuixmala is surrounded by lush forests and overlooks Mexico's most unspoilt beaches. This eco-friendly retreat has its own nature reserve, and guests will stumble upon zebras, antelopes and exotic birds (of which there are over 270 species) and even crocodiles! Conservation is a large part of life in this stunning estate, so lend a hand and return baby turtles to the sea after they have hatched. Take an electric boat tour around the lagoon and watch the Great brown pelicans in the evening light. If you are lucky, you may even spot a jaguar in this protected habitat.
Out on the coast, there are large expanses of pristine sandy beaches. Caleta Blanca is perfect for water sports, from ocean kayaking to snorkelling and its white sandy bay is good for a picnic, or take a sailing boat to explore and fish along the dramatic coastline. Experience the freedom of a horseback ride along the endless nature trails and unspoilt Cuixmala beach. Guests can also play Professional Polo nearby. Mountain biking trails will suit all levels, from a slow jaunt to an adventurous cycle across the rugged hills. With an illuminated court, play tennis any time, day or night and there is a volleyball net on the beach. Enjoy use of the large outdoor pool terrace or take a drink in Casa Gomez's Club Room, and in this tranquil environment, end the day with a relaxing massage and a yoga session in the privacy of your villa.
Dining
The Villlas and La Loma have personal cooks so guests can relax in their private dining room with meals prepared from organic produce from Cuixmala's own organic farm and the family's ranch in the Mexican Highlands.
The Casa Gomez restaurant serves breakfast, lunch & dinner and serves as a club house for the casita guests. Attention is paid to every detail, from the menus down to the charming ceramic crockery. Dine on the terrace overlooking the jungle before retiring to the Club Room for a fireside nightcap.
Rates
Meal plans can be arranged at USD 140 per person per day in the Private Villas including 3 meals, lunch and dinner and at USD 95 in the Casitas including 2 meals in the restaurant (lunch & dinner) and non alcoholic beverages. Breakfast is included in the Casita rate. Reservations require a 50% deposit to confirm. The remaining 50% deposit is required 6 weeks prior to arrival. In high season, cancellations made 6 weeks prior to arrival will forfeit 40% of the deposit. After this period, 70% of the deposit will be retained.
During Christmas / New Year (December 20 to January 10) a minimum stay of 7 nights applies. Children between 6-11 years old are welcome to stay at Cuixmala and are only charged for the Meal Plan at 50% of the regular rate.

Cancellation policy
In low season 15% of the deposit is retained for cancellations made 3 weeks prior to arrival. After this period, 25% of the deposit will be retained. For payments made by bank transfer, the same applies and refunds will be made less bank fees. In the Christmas / New Year period, cancellations made 60-31 days prior to arrival will be charged 50% of the total stay. Cancellations made within 31 days prior to arrival will be charged the full amount of the total stay.
