Accommodation

Unlike any other luxury hotel, the beautiful rooms at the Chèvre d'Or are in medieval houses scattered throughout the village of Eze. The 6 suites all have panoramic sea views and the other exquisite rooms have hill or village views. Twenty-three of the rooms have private balconies ensuring utmost privacy. Some of the interiors are floral, others more contemporary, each immaculately designed. Two awe-inspiring suites have been added for 2009 both named after artists; Cocteau and Luis Navarro Suite showcase a selection of artists illustrations against a back drop of eclectic furniture. The Presidential Suite has the wonderful addition of a private infinity pool, terrace and shaded garden. All of the rooms feature air-conditioning, Jacuzzi baths, Satellite TV and high-speed internet, with WiFi available in most rooms.

Activities

Everything and anything is possible at the Chèvre d'Or. With a heated outdoor swimming pools, outdoor Jacuzzi, numerous garden terraces and a wellbeing area with fitness room, steam room, sauna & massage room, you can choose whether to be pampered or relax & unwind in the sun with the warmth of the sea breeze. If the views from the gym can't keep you motivated then nothing will - the glass walls look directly across the sea. Hatha and ashtanga vinyasa yoga classes are also offered, the perfect way to unwind. If you choose to leave, and some may not, there are plenty of activities available close by including tennis, golf, biking and sailing and for the creative, enrol in a perfume-making workshop. The delights of the French Riviera are within easy reach, and situated between Nice and Monaco, the area is great for shopping and has a vibrant nightlife.

Dining

With 4 restaurants to choose from guests have no need to eat anywhere else; La Chèvre d'Or is the award-winning gourmet restaurant with 2 Michelin stars, Les Remparts is the al fresco terrace restaurant. Lunches are an informal affair and can be enjoyed at Le Café du Jardin and for those looking for an evening with romance there is the Eden restaurant. Executive Chef, Didier Elena, joined La Chèvre d'Or restaurant in 2010, adding a new twist to its renowned menu. With a wine cellar housing over 35,000 bottles, there is a wine to suit all tastes and budgets. The Bar du Château, situated out on the terrace with gorgeous panoramic views, serves fine cognacs & ports to relaxing jazz.

Rates

Rates at Chateau de la Chevre d'Or are per room per night excluding city tax of EUR 1.50 per person per day. Continental breakfast is EUR 28 per person. Extra bed for 6-year-olds upwards is EUR 65.

Cancellation policy

One night deposit is needed to confirm the booking and a minimum of 2 nights is required during high season and at weekends. If cancellation is received at least 21 days prior to arrival the deposit is refunded but a cancellation fee of EUR 61 is charged.
