About this Chic Retreat

Chamois d'Or is a charming chalet that sits right at the foot of the slopes and enjoys spectacular views of the Grandes Rousses peaks at Alpe d'Huez. The owners used to come here as guests themselves and so understand more than anyone the level of service required to keep guests happy year on year. Ski lifts are three steps away with ski schools for all ages. The cable car is just as close which takes skiers up to the world's longest slope the Pic Blanc. Chamois d'Or is the perfect luxury chalet for skiers of all levels.

Accommodation

Warm fabrics, soft woods and antique furniture create a cosy and inviting atmosphere throughout all of the inviting rooms & suites. Fluffly duvets, subtle lighting and panoramic views can be enjoyed in all of the rooms many of which have sunny balconies with deckchairs. The 5 suites are large and spacious and are all on the upper level of the hotel enjoying some of the best views. WIFI is available in all of the rooms..

Activities

Refresh your aching legs after a day on the slopes and enjoy a dip in the swimming pool followed by a massage or some relaxation in the hammam. Body scrubs, bath treatments, facials and 2 day packages can all be arranged - perfect for those who are not keen on ski-ing every day!

Dining

A hearty, fulfilling breakfast is served on the large terrace or can be enjoyed on your balcony. A day's skiing wouldn't be the same without afternoon tea in front of the fire. For those looking to enjoy long lunches, there are plenty of great restaurants to stop at on the slopes.

Rates

Rates at Chamois d'Or are per room per night unless otherwise specified. Half board includes dinner, accommodation, breakfast and free access to the SPA (indoor swimming-pool 5x10 m, jacuzzi, hammam, sauna). Small dogs are allowed.
