Casa Morada is located on the bay in Islamorada, the jewel of the Florida Keys. Tucked away on a quiet side street, Casa Morada is an upscale 16 suite chic hotel with the informal character of the Caribbean. Guests of Casa Morada enjoy the seclusion of a private tropical island but are only minutes away from some of the best dining and outdoor activities in the Florida Keys.

Accommodation

Each of the 16 suites has private outdoor as well as indoor living space. Spacious secluded gardens and intimate terraces with open air Jacuzzis are available. Casa Morada suites are decorated with a mixture of custom Mexican antiques and modern accents. Room amenities include: Robes, DVD Players, Audio Library, Books, Fresh Orchids, Stocked Mini Fridges, Hair Dryers, Safes, and Molton Brown Body Products. Suites at Casa Morada are located within Sea View House or Garden House. Sea View Suite The Sea View Suites are located on the ground level of Sea View House. Each Suite has a private outdoor terrace overlooking the water and is a few steps from the Island pool. Sea View Suites are furnished with Queen Size beds in the bedrooms and Daybeds in the sitting areas. Deluxe Sea View Suite The Deluxe Sea View Suites are located in the Sea View house. Deluxe Sea View Suites have private terraces with panoramic views of the water and spectacular Islamorada sunsets. These suites are furnished with King Size beds and sitting areas. Garden Suite The eleven Garden Suites are located within Garden House. Each Garden Suite has a separate bedroom, living room and private outdoor terrace. Each bedroom has a King size bed and the living room has a day bed that can be made up for sleeping. The ground floor Garden Suites open directly to Casa Morada's center Garden. The upper floor Garden Suites have private screened balconies, some with open air Jacuzzis.

Activities

Guests can enjoy a scenic boat ride to the Florida Everglades or learn to fly fish or Scuba dive. There is great snorkelling on the world famous Keys reef and swimming with dolphins can be arranged. There are hammocks dotted around the grounds and there is tennis nearby. In-room massages can be arranged and guests can relax with a complimentary yoga class between Thursday and Sunday. Kayaks, snorkel equipment and bikes are available free of charge.  

Dining

Casa Morada serves complimentary continental breakfast daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the Seaview Terrace, overlooking Florida Bay. Guests can choose from the New York Times or Miami Herald, and enjoy croissants, muffins, bagels, cereal, freshly squeezed orange juice, espresso, cappuccino and Jamaican blue mountain coffee. For lunch or dinner, guests who wish to stay on property can select from a wide variety of sandwiches, pizza and wraps as well as Italian, Greek and other special menu items from nearby local restaurants.  Enjoy a cocktail or two in the bar at the sunset gazebo.

Rates at Casa Morada include Complimentary Continental Breakfast. Rates are based on single or double occupancy, excluding 7.5% Sales tax and 5% Bed Tax. Rates are subject to change without notice and are subject to availability.
