About this Chic Retreat

Five years after opening and JK Place Firenze is better than ever. JK Place was the first boutique hotel in Florence and is centrally located in the square of Santa Maria Novella, (5 minutes from the train station), which takes its name from the beautiful, Gothic church located there, one of the historic jewels of the city. The well-known architect Mr. Michele Bonan, inspired by the philosophy of personal service and intimate & luxurious surroundings, created this stylish boutique hotel. The style is traditional architecture with the comfort and luxury of modernism, whilst maintaining the personality of local traditions. This stylish chic retreat has now opened the J.K. Lounge, a sophisticated bar & restaurant where guests can relax with a fine wine in the atmospheric Pink Room or enjoy a post-theatre dinner.

Accommodation

This small luxury hotel has 20 stunning rooms including 3 master rooms (number 1 is our favourite), 1 penthouse suite and 5 junior suites; all individually designed in calming creams and beiges all filled with the wonderful smell of Lilies & Roses.

JK Place provides the perfect bolt-hole and weekend escape. The staff speak a multitude of languages and can cater for the most demanding guest whether staying for business or pleasure.

Activities

JK Lounge is a new bar and restaurant with a sophisticated feel, perfect for a glass of wine and dinner after a day exploring Florence. Alternatively, have a romantic drink in the warm light of the Pink Room. The concierge, which is the best in Florence, can help with any enquiries and located in the heart of downtown Florence in Piazza Santa Maria Novella, the city is at your fingertips. For those who want some pampering, the Olimpo Spa is just 2 minutes from this luxury hotel and use of the steam room is complimentary for guests.

Dining

JK Place's fantastic Lounge restaurant serves innovative contemporary dishes and traditional cuisine. On Sundays - from the 14th March - take a leisurely brunch with a generous buffet of handmade cakes, tarts, cheese, meats, cereals and salads, a hot dish to order, freshly-baked bread and a selection of tea, coffee and juices, started off with a welcome bloody mary or bellini. This chic retreat serves a delicious breakfast downstairs under the glass roof which lets in so much natural light you will be forgiven for thinking that you are outside.

The rates include buffet breakfast, welcome drink, tea and coffee during the day, newspaper, minibar (soft drinks), DVD/CD selection, service and taxes (10% Vat).

Cancellation policy

Cancellation notice up to 7 days before arrival date: no charge; Cancellation between 6 days and 4 days from arrival date – 50% of the stay will be charged as penalty; Cancellation less than 3 days before arrival date - 100% of the stay will be charged as penalty. In case of no-show or shortening of the stay after the check-in - 100% of the stay will be charged as penalty.
