About this Chic Retreat
Brisas de La Pedrera is a small luxury hotel in the peaceful beach town of La Pedrera on the South Atlantic coast. This tranquil spot, which livens up in peak season, offers miles of gorgeous beaches including El Barco and the family-friendly El Desplayado. This chic retreat affords breathtaking views from the floor-to-ceiling windows and the 14 bright and spacious suites are decorated with fine fabrics, contemporary luxuries and vintage furniture. This is a great place for a beach break or romantic getaway and this gorgeous bolthole, nearly a century old, has reopened with a refreshed and luxurious ambience. To truly relax, take a wellness break and enjoy yoga, body treatments and a menu of detoxifying cuisine.
Accommodation
There are 14 individually-decorated suites at Brisas de La Pedrera, all of around 30 sqm. The Jardin rooms on the ground floor look out to the Desplayado beach and each has its own semi-private patio from which to view the magical sunsets. The Zen and Master rooms are on the upper level and afford spectacular views down to Cabo Polonio, each with its own private terrace. For those who want some extra privacy, the standalone Bungalow has a private garden. Vintage furniture, natural materials and fine linens create a comfortable, stylish feel in every suite and large windows allow guests to enjoy the sunshine and sea views from their own room. All rooms come with king-size beds and can also be converted to twins on request. The en-suite bathrooms are decorated with local tiles and handmade wood furnishings and all come with showers, while one of the rooms has a stone bathtub. Brisas de La Pedrera provide their own line of luxury bath products along with bathrobes, towels & beach towels and all rooms come with WiFi.
Activities
La Pedrera, in the province of Rocha is a peaceful seaside town throughout most of the year, becoming more lively in high season. This chic retreat is within easy access of some of the most untouched and pristine beaches of the area and there are many to choose from with Desplayado being the best for children with its lighter waves. Wander down to the bars and restaurants for a pleasant evening with new friends or go for a drink at Brisas' coffee shop or bar. The Brisas de La Pedrera experience is all about relaxation and they offer a wellbeing programme including yoga classes, body treatments and a detox menu. Get back to nature and explore the beaches on horseback or take a day trip to Rocha's lagoons and Cabo Polonio with its beautiful Atlantic beach where you may spot some sea lions. This stunning area is perfect for nature lovers; for day trips, visit Laguna de Rocha, Sierras de Rocha and Parque Los Ombues. From October 2010 there will be a treatment room in the hotel, and in the meantime, guests can order a relaxing in-room massage or facial treatment.
Dining
For breakfast, choose from Brisas de La Pedrera's 3 styles: Light (low-cal), Natural (granola, fruits) and Rocha (local ham, cheeses, etc.). All of the breakfasts include a variety of breads, local jams and drinks. Snacks are available, including bocatas and tapas and can be served in the lounge, out on the deck or moon terrace or in more private spaces and the rooms. From March, the restaurant will be open for lunch & dinner.
Rates
Rates at Brisas de La Pedrera are per room per night and include breakfast and all taxes. Rates can change. Extended stays receive a 10% discount. A 40% prepayment is required to confirm the booking with the balance to be paid upon check-in. Brisas de La Pedrera is open from October 15th through to April 30th.

Cancellation policy
From the 40% prepayment taken to confirm the booking, 80% will be refunded for cancellations made up to 60 days prior to arrival, 50% for cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival and the deposit will not be refunded for cancellations of less than 30 days prior to check-in.
