About this Chic Retreat
If only all country house hotels were like Hotel Endsleigh. They used to be, but not any more. Hotel Endsleigh is a rarity. No gimmicks, no pretensions, no spa with a funny name, no showing off with fancy cocktails and over complicated food. Just a beautiful boutique hotel with pure quality in a beautiful landscape, cosy fires, delicious food, beautiful rooms and a wonderful selection of really good books. Olga Polizzi, the owner, has impeccable taste and has cleverly combined textures, textiles, art and antiques to create the interiors of this stunning country house hotel. Nature has provided the stunning views in the garden and to the River Tamar below.
Accommodation
The rooms at Hotel Endsleigh are no different to the rest of the house; 16 gorgeous rooms, full of lovely pictures and antiques with pretty soft furnishings and antiques. The hotel has been sympathetically restored in the spirit of the Regency period.
Activities
The nearest town is Tavistock which is a charming market town just 5 minutes away. The Pannier Market brings together small shops and local stalls including a famous cheese shop. There are a few National Trust and English Heritage properties nearby and a great selection of books in the library for those who want to relax 'at home'.
Dining
Lunch and dinner are served in the original dining room where the original crests of the Bedford family still reside. The chef sources the best local and seasonal produce and comes up with simple and delicious variations on traditional English recipes.

Deposit will be forfeited in the event of cancellation less than 21 days prior to arrival, unless we are able to re-let the room.

- Additional Info: By Plane - Gatwick to Plymouth is approximately 1 hour and then a further 45 minutes by car. By Train - Paddington to Exeter is just over 2 hours and then a further hour by car. Paddington to Plymouth is approximately 3 hours and then a further 45 minutes by car. By Helicopter - By far the quickest! Please call us for the coordinates.
