About this Chic Retreat
The Manor B&B is a luxury retreat in Calvi, Corsica. With a traditional and classy interior, this restored stone house has awe-inspiring views of the bay and Citadelle, and is surrounded by 3,000 sqm of Mediterranean gardens, palm trees, bush and 100-year-old olive groves. With just 4 rooms, this spacious chic retreat is a great place to relax in peace and is just 800 yards from Calvi's gorgeous sandy beach.
Accommodation
The Manor B&B has 2 separate rooms and a 2-room suite. Chessboard tiled floors in classic white and blue work well with the elegant, light colour scheme, and furnishings are classy and traditional, with rich fabrics covering regal-style chairs, and cherry, walnut and chestnut wood furniture.
Beds range from king-size in Room No. 1 to an extra single bed with an Empire-style headboard in Room No. 4 which can be used for 3 people on prior arrangement. Rooms No.3 & 4 work as a suite. All of the rooms have patios with panoramic views which can be admired from the leather and forged iron furniture. The suite rooms share a bathroom with a large tiled shower stall. All rooms have showers, and Room No.1 has a combined bath/shower. Crisp white sheets cover the beds and rooms are spacious, some with comfortable seating areas. All rooms have air-conditioning, flatscreen digital TVs & DVD players (with a wide selection of DVDs available) and complimentary WiFi.
Activities
Guests can sit back in the Jacuzzi and take a dip in the salt-filtered heated outdoor swimming pool surrounded by The Manor B&B's lush gardens and for a real treat, order an aromatherapy massage. The club house is a lovely spot to soak up the majestic setting and Calvi has a beautiful 5-mile stretch of sandy beach. Vehicles can be rented on request for trips further afield as well as boat excursions in a 13-metre catamaran. There are many activities in the near vicinity, from water sports and diving to horseback riding and golf courses & tennis courts are within easy reach. Visit the local traditional villages to pick up some arts & crafts to take home.
Dining
The Manor B&B serves refreshments & snacks in the rooms and at the pool house. A full English-style breakfast, tailored to your taste is served at the club house in the warmer months, and in cooler seasons in the dining room which overlooks the sea and Citadelle. On request, it is possible to arrange other meals and in the summer a buffet brunch of cold dishes is available.
Rates
Rates at the manor include breakfast and all taxes. In high season a minimum stay of 3 nights applies although shorter bookings will be considered depending on the schedule. Room No. 2 can be used as a 3 person room at an additional charge. Guests are offered a free airport transfer from Calvi St. Catherine.

Cancellation policy
Reservations must be paid before arrival for stays of 1-2 nights. For 3 nights or more, a deposit of 25% of the total stay or the equivalent of 2 nights, whichever is the greatest. For all reservations made 30 days prior to arrival a deposit of 50% is required. For long stays, cancellation insurance is recommended. In cases of death, accident or illness necessitatin in hospitalisation for a minimum of 8 days, the following applies. If notice is given at least 30 days prior to arrival, 75% will be reimbursed on presentation of official supporting documents. If notice is give 30-8 days prior to arrival, 25% will be reimbursed on presentation of official supporting documents. For all other cancellations, there will be no reimbursement. For cancellations made on the day without previous communicatino by noon, the rental rate for the entire period is then due, although the Manor B&B can re-rent the room to a third party. Late arrivals and early departures will be charged the full fee.
