La Constancia is a unique Argentine Estancia which, having been abandoned for 40 years, has been brought back to life after extensive renovations by the current owners.  Sitting at a height of 1400m, and located in Quebrada del Tigre in the Traslasierra valley at the village of San Javier, this small boutique hotel is just 2 hours away from the city of Córdoba.  The 1200 hectare estate extends as far as the Cerro Champaquí (2800m high) and benefits from its own microclimate which has created wonderful streams, waterfalls and woods, all of which create a captivating setting.  

Activities

Within La Constancia's estate there are refreshing bathing pools and the surrounding rolling countryside is perfect for those who love horse riding, hiking and fishing as well as hunting.

Dining

The owners at La Constancia are real foodies and have appointed Chef Luis Dorado (who graduated from the Argentine Institute of Gastronomy) to conjure up a colourful choice of delicious dishes using the best seasonal produce and home-grown herbs and ingredients.

Rates at La Constancia are per room per night on a full board basis and do not include tax.  Additional beds are available and are charged at 40% of the room rate.  Children under 12 are not accepted.
