About this Chic Retreat
Enter through the outdoor terrace under the old apple tree to be welcomed as an old friend at Ketawa, a gorgeous Chic Retreat in Chiang Mai. Informal and homely, this small boutique hotel is nonetheless dripping with style, a tranquil hideaway to read, relax, meet new friends or enjoy a peaceful romantic evening. Intimate spaces intertwine with communal living areas and guests can unwind with a drink by the swimming pool or enjoy home-baked treats in the cafe. Located on the Ping River in the historical Wat Kate area, many of the city's top attractions, restaurants and bars are within walking distance, while the moated old town is a short drive away.
Accommodation
There are 7 double and 6 twin deluxe rooms at Ketawa, each decorated to a mood-inspiring colour tone, from Rose Pink and Forest Green, to Charcoal Grey and Chinese Red. To enhance the ambience, scents are used, and a wonderful collection of bespoke lamps, cushions, vases and art works complete the picture. All rooms have air-conditioning, large flat-screen TVs with cable, tea & coffee making facilities, mini-bars, complimentary WiFi and exclusive natural bath products, specially designed for each and every room.
Activities
Many of Chiang Mai's top sites are within walking distance, along with artists shops, restaurants and a stylish selection of bars. Just a 5 minute walk will take you to downtown while the moated old town is a short drive away. Tours can be arranged on request from Ketawa, and after the days explorations, return to a Thai or aromatherapy massage or an evening cocktail by the swimming pool.
Dining
Chic cafe hangout Ketawa Cafe offers homemade baked goods along with delicious ice creams and coffee shop treats. Breakfast is also served in this stylish cafe, or out on the cafe terrace.
Rates
Rates at Ketawa are per room per night and include breakfast, service and VAT. Children under 4 years old can share a room with parent free of charge (max 1 child per room). An additional bed can be added for THB 500 (low season) - THB 700 (high season). Extra bed rates do not include breakfast which is charged at THB 200 for children aged 12 and upward and adults and THB 150 for children aged 4-12. Airport transfers by tax can be arranged at THB 300 each way (max 4 pax).
