After 3 years of painstaking restoration Selcuklu Evi Cave Hotel has opened its doors as a a sympathetically restored ancient Seljuk house in Cappadocia.  This hideaway has been transformed by the best craftsmen into an authentic and charming Chic Retreat. The stone walls keep Selcuklu Evi cool in the Summer and warm in the winter, making it the perfect year round destination.

Accommodation

All of the 20 rooms & suites at Selcuklu Evi Cave Hotel are furnished with antiques and traditional carpets. Brightly coloured kilims and hand-embroidered bed covers are features of all of the simply decorated rooms at this charming boutique hotel and all rooms have satellite TV and en-suite marble bathrooms. The Cave Dwelling Rooms are carved out of rock and have a private terrace or enjoy the Hammam Room which has its bathroom in the style of a Turkish bath.

Activities

Although there is no swimming pool at Selcuklu Evi Cave Hotel, there is one just 100m away that is available at a small cost to hotel guests. Hiking is one of the most popular activities of the area as there are so many different cultural routes on offer. Other activities include horse riding, potter workshops, cooking lessons and hot air ballooning.

Dining

Autentic, local food is served in the dining room along with many types of Turkish wine. Near the Oriental room in the garden, there is a wine container with two taps, where you can choose the red or white local wines.
