About this Chic Retreat
Hawsmoor House is more than just a wonderful place to stay - it is the vision and dream of 4 friends Mark, Simon, Jonathan and Maike. Each of them have contributed something different to this small charming hotel including; strategy & finance, antiques dealing, marketing and hotel networking and management, property investment. The one thing they all have in common is the experience they want to give their guests. At Hawksmoor House guests can take their shoes off walk into the kitchen and make themselves a cup of day at any time of the day or cook up a feast after a trip to the market. This really does feel like home except far more chic and far more exclusive. Have a swim, take a sip of wine, snooze by the pool, read a book, listen to jazz..relax by the fire..
Accommodation
Hawksmoor House offers a totally unspoilt, unpolished and authentic country home experience for those who need some well-deserved rest or would like to celebrate a special occasion. In the manor house there are some guest rooms each with a terrace and there is a drawing room with fireplace and honesty bar, an i-pod docking station and a small library of books and DVDs. The new addition to the guest house are the 3 garden cottages each with their own terrace. All 14 rooms are furnished with exquisite antiques and each glow with their own unique style, colour and name - White, Beige, Green, Blue, Brown, Map, Chinese & Grey.
Activities
There is internet access for those who can't resist and the farmhouse kitchen has an AGA and direct access onto the well nurtured herb garden. The gardens have a reflecting pond and are full of lavender beds and roses. The pretty swimming pool has a lovely view of Table Mountain and to ensure privacy and security the grounds are securely fenced. In-room treatments can be arranged.

English breakfast is served on a daily basis.

Room rates at Hawksmoor house ar eper room per night and include breakfast and 14% VAT. Rates are subject to change without notice. Children between the ages of 2-12 are not accepted.
