Cape Cadogan is a charming boutique hotel in a renovated 19th-century stately home in Gardens, Cape Town, all within walking distance of Cape Town's best restaurants & cafes. This luxury hotel has a bohemian soul, inspired by the life of Oscar Wilde, with a mix of antique and contemporary furniture, fine fabrics and a grand colour scheme of golds, creams and white.
The Owners' Villa is a private space with a similarly opulent design where classic style and contemporary luxuries combine to create a comfortable, inviting space for those who crave a home-from-home from their stay. Relax in this chic Georgian-Victorian hotel, complete with gardens and an outdoor pool, perfect for relaxing after a day out in the vibrant city. The sister property, More Quarters, offers luxury apartments located around the corner from this chic retreat.
Accommodation
Cape Cadogan has 12 luxurious bedrooms, each individually styled with a boho-chic style. Classic furnishings and contemporary design combine in these luxurious rooms, each with a light palette of golden creams, antique furniture and travertine en-suite bathrooms with large tubs, showers or both, complete with bathrobes, fluffy towels and slippers. All of the rooms have air-conditioning, heaters, mini-bars, M-Net / Satellite TV, DVD players, surround sound systems, tea & coffee facilities, ADSL & WiFi internet access and sumptuous Charlotte Rhys bath products. Beds are covered in crisp white linens and plump pillows, and some rooms have four-posters with fine drapes. Most rooms have private balconies or patios.
The More Cape Cadogan Owner's Villa continues in the grand style of the hotel and has an open-plan lounge, private plunge pool lined by sun loungers, full kitchen, Satellite TV with DVD/surround sound, WiFi, air-conditioning, mini-bar and 1 luxurious en-suite bedroom decorated in soothing natural hues where guests can relax in their own private home.
Activities
Tamboerskloof is a trendy suburb with views of Table Mountain and within walking distance of the city centre and the Company Gardens. Cape Cadogan is a 10 minute drive from the lively Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Art lovers can take a trip to the Museum Mile or visit the art dealers close by. For a day out, take a trip to the UNESCO designated World Heritage Site, Robben Island or make the 45-minute trip to Stellenbosch & the winelands - there are numerous wine routes where guests can experience the wines of the region. By evening, relax by the outdoor pool or read by the open fireplace in the comfortable lounge.
Dining
Cape Cadogan has a large breakfast to start the day and by evening, guests lounge in the living room with snacks and drinks. There are plenty of restaurants around Kloof Street which staff will be happy to recommend for dinner and for those who wish to dine in, meals can be ordered in and served in-room or in the breakfast room. The room service menu includes a good wine list.
Rates
Rates at Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel are per room / villa per night on a B&B basis. These rates include 14% VAT and the 1% Tourist Levy. A peak period supplement of 25% and a minimum 4-night stay is applicable for December 21 - January 8. A 50% deposit is required to confirm booking. Full prepayment is required 30 days prior to arrival. Children under 10 cannot be accommodated at More Cape Cadogan, but they can stay at the luxury apartments, More Quarters, close by.

Cancellation policy
Bookings cancelled 30-8 days prior to arrival will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. Bookings cancelled 7 days or less prior to arrival will be charged a 100% cancellation fee based on the value of the booking.
