About this Chic Retreat

Estancia El Rocío was conceived by its owners as a small luxury hotel for international visitors with a taste for life's small luxuries. At the main residence and guest house visitors are treated to impeccable service and all of life's comforts. Each detail of this boutique hotel's exquisite décor was inspired by the owner's travels and the orchard, surrounding grounds and polo fields complete the vision which was part of their original dream.

Accommodation

Suites and rooms at Estancia El Rocio are fully equipped with all the amenities. Suite Las Rosas: King size bed, this room has an en-suite bathroom. There are two doors with direct access to the patio and to the park. It is the pink room in our photo gallery on our web. - Rooms Los Damascos and Los Citricos: These rooms share one bathroom. Each room has two beds. West wing: - Suite Los Cactus: Two beds, this room has its own private bathroom. It is the green room in our photo gallery. Note: The main house that includes the above facilities has fire places in the 2 suites, library, dining room and living room in addition to the central heating by the floor. The Eucalyptus loft: A colonial loft, on the first floor there are two beds and a small bathroom (no bathtub, shower yes), in the ground floor you have a small charming living room, a fire place, two comfortable bunk beds, a counter bar and a kitchenette.

Activities

Estancia El Rocío provides international guests all the comforts to which they are accustomed; the impeccably maintained swimming pool is surrounded by hectares of trees and gardens. Estancia El Rocío is the ideal setting for polo players to come and take advantage of the sport while enjoying the farm's beautiful surroundings. Take advantage of the stables and take a horseback riding lesson. Everything at Estancia El Rocío is designed so that guests can enjoy the fresh air and incredible landscapes of the Argentine Pampas. The farm's surrounding area is a rich habitat for Argentina's local fauna and offers many possibilities for this sport. Activities are coordinated by expert guides with over 17 years experience and are therefore planned according to guests' requests. Private flights can be organised on request for travel to and from hunting destinations further from the farm.

With Buenos Aires just 1hr 15 minutes away while the husbands hunt or fish those who love shopping or to be pampered won't be disappointed. Back at this chic retreat, there is a boutique with regional and traditional products. Guests can also relax in the hammocks with a book from the library or play one of the indoor or outdoor games. If you want to enjoy the fine Argentinian food back home, take a cookery lesson with the Estancia's chef and learn how to make a traditional dish. At Estancia El Rocio there is something for everyone.

Dining

The cuisine at Estancia El Rocio includes the most delicious regional and international dishes prepared by the onsite chef. Each meal combines flavours of the pampas and Argentina accompanied by the best of Argentinian wines. Take dinner in the gallery under the wisteria or the eucalyptus trees, on the patio or in the dining room.

Rates

Rates are per person per day and include 4 meals. Minimum 2 night stay. The rates for Los Damascos and Los Citricos is for up to 4 people per night and these 2 rooms are taken together however many people.
