If you haven't been to Miller of Mansfield yet, go now, quick, before everyone gets to know about it. Following a truly fantastic refurbishment the Miller of Mansfield has now re-opened to show the finished article off in all its glory. The result is a stunning boutique hotel with restaurant and bar, just 30 minutes from London. Ideal for an impulsive mid-week night away or a luxurious weekend away.

Accommodation

All of the 10 rooms at Miller of Mansfield have been redesigned and refurbished with a touch of old and a bit of new. The bathrooms are marble with high pressure showers and stone resin baths and the beds have organic mattresses - possibly the most comfortable in the world! Most rooms are wallpapered (Cole & Son no less) and some have superking size beds, others like Room 11 is a classically inspired room in muted blue grey, which focuses on the antique French corbeille bed, reupholstered in luxurious silk.

Dining

The bar and restaurant are as good as eachother - one offering real local ales and ciders along with a tempting wine list and the other serving heavenly food using the best of British produce to create the exciting Modern British and European menus. Dining here is relaxing and pleasurable, no dress code, no time limit on the table and no hovering waiters, just a great atmosphere, superb food and lovely service. The bar is an incredibly comfy and cozy living room with open fires, antique club chairs and beautiful antique wooden floors. The Miller bar is also open during the day for coffee, tea and pastries or even just a glass of wine.
