About this Chic Retreat
Hotel Iturregi is a really stunning small boutique hotel located next to the fishing village of Getaria, just 30 minutes from the wonderful city of San Sebastian. This Chic Retreat is hidden away in the peace and quiet of the countryside and with stunning views of the Basque Coast.
Accommodation
Each of the 8 rooms at Hotel Iturregi are different sizes, different colours and different styles but the one thing they share is that they are all really beautiful. The owner has combined modern with traditional when it comes to the furniture & style and has used a soft palette of colours throughout. There are 2 suites, one 50sqm and the other more than 60sqm, both with sitting rooms, stunning views and spacious bathrooms. Complimentary WiFi is offered throughout.
Activities
Hotel Iturregi has a lovely pool (not heated) and massages can be arranged in Spa La Perla in San Sebastian a 20 minute drive away. There is plenty to see in the surrounding area for those guests looking for something to do, otherwise this is the sort of place where you arrive and leave without having left the hotel!
In Getaria is the Cristóbal Balenciaga museum. Balenciaga, a famous 20th-century fashion designer described by Christian Dior as ‘the master of us all’, grew up in the town.
Dining
There is a house honesty bar at Hotel Iturregi where clients can serve themselves their favourite drinks. Light snacks are available as well as the local white wine, Txakoli.
Getaria has a handful of good restaurants. Best of all is Elkano, which stands on the main road through town; expect fabulous seafood cooked to perfection. Tourist can also find Elkaia restaurant specialized as well in sea food and grilled meat prepared at the typical Basque grill. If you want something simpler, drop down to the waterside for a couple of good fish restaurants with terraces at the front.

Rates at Hotel Iturregi are per room per night including breakfast and not including 8% tax. An additional bed is available in some rooms at an additional EUR 45.

Cancellation policy
Low Season (January until May, except Easter and mid-October to December): If you cancel less than 48 hours before the arrival date, you will be billed for 50% of the stay. Mid & High Season (Easter and from June to mid-October): You will be billed for 100% of the first night, once the reservation is confirmed. 7 days before the arrival date you will be billed for 50% of the stay.
