The luxury villa's position is nothing short of spectacular, overlooking rice paddies, lush jungle and the mist-shrouded mountains beyond. Accommodation

Just three double-bedroomed suites make up Mandalay Hideaway; if requested, one of these can be converted into a wellness suite for the duration of your stay. The luxury villa boasts sumptuous interiors, that lovely Balinese blend of clean-lined, contemporary style and traditional architecture; suites come complete with walk-in wardrobes, en-suite bathrooms and sweeping panoramas of the tropical landscape outside. The Master Suite is particularly impressive, with a huge terrace and a day-bed for outdoor lounging.  As this hideaway is located on top of a small drop-off it boasts stunning views across the rice fields, mountains and jungles and each suite benefits from large windows allowing guests to enjoy the spectacular scenery.

Activities

Much thought has been put into the choice of activities at this luxury villa. Spa fanatics can request that one of the suites be converted into a dedicated wellness area; the villa benefits from professional Jari Menari massage tables, yoga mats and meditation cushions, and offers an in-house spa menu.  Mandalay also has a close relationship with the local villages and offers a selection of complimentary experiences to take you directly to the heart of traditional Balinese culture, from attending local ceremonies and dances to visiting the village temple accompanied by the local priest.  Back in the villa, a state of the art entertainment system includes high-definition TVs, a PlayStation, Apple computer, Blu-Ray player and an extensive media library to match.

As well as a personal concierge, guests also have use of a chauffeur (at no extra charge) - perfect to better explore this diverse area. Take advantage of full honorary membership of the nearby Canggu Private Members Club, which offers a restaurant, bar, children's club, fully equipped gym, pool and tennis courts.  The complimentary services at Mandalay are endless with VIP airport clearance, welcome massage, unlimited WiFi, laundry and daily international newspaper of your choice all included in the rate.

Dining

As you'd expect, Mandalay Hideaway boasts its own private chef and butler. A lovely breakfast spread is included as part of the villa rate, lunch and dinner are provided on request and charged only at the cost of ingredients (there's an extensive in-villa menu of Western, Asian and Balinese cuisine). Fresh fruit, juices, mineral water, tea and coffee (courtesy of a Nespresso machine) are all complimentary.
