About this Chic Retreat

UXUA Casa Hotel is a stunning beachside boutique hotel in the beautiful natural surroundings of Trancoso. Situated on a world-heritage site, this chic retreat has 9 individually styled Casas designed by Diesel's Wilbert Das in collaboration with local Bahian artisans. Rustic wooden sofas overlook the ocean at the beachside lounge bar, and all guests are reserved their own private spot. Private beach facilities are integrated into the ancient Atlantic mangrove, including a private dining patio, ideal for a romantic meal.

Accommodation

Each of the 9 Casas are individually styled with a focus on local Bahian craftmanship. From poolside studios to a luxurious treehouse made from recycled wood, guests can really get back to nature in their own tranquil space. This chic retreat also offers fisherman-style bungalows nestled amid palm trees surrounded by colourful plants. Some Casas have their own private gardens, plunge pools, Jacuzzis & terraces, and every Casa has a kitchen or kitchenette, a private bathroom with locally crafted fixtures, luxurious king size beds, and locally sourced furnishings.

Activities

UXUA Casa Hotel has a real emphasis on relaxation. Unwind in the spa, which has indoor and outdoor treatment rooms, before taking a relaxing dip in the Jacuzzi. Yoga and pilates classes are held in the spa and there are a variety of massages and acupuncture treatments to choose from. Guests can have a refreshing swim in the UXUA garden pool, which is lined with Aventurine, a shimmering green stone famous for it's healing properties. There is an open-air gym, beach-volley area and a platform for Capoeira training for more active guests.

Dining

Overlooking the pool, the open-air restaurant & bar serves Bahian cuisine and homemade delicacies made from locally sourced ingredients, in line with the natural rustic feel of this boutique hotel. Refreshing fresh juices are made from the fruit of UXUA's own trees and there is a large breakfast buffet.

Rates

Rates at Uxua Casa Hotel are per casa, per night, including breakfast and reserved beach sofas. Exclusive rental available. Certain dates incur a holiday surcharge.  10% service charge and 5% city charge is applicable on all rates.
