About this Chic Retreat
Newly refurbished and re-opened in October 2009 Parkhotel Igls is a tranquil health retreat in Igls, Innsbruck. Nestled in a large park, surrounded by the Tyrolean mountains, this chic retreat whose motto is 'Health is Central' combines F.X.Mayr Medicine, 'New Mayr Cuisine', exercise, spa facilities and well-appointed rooms & suites so that guests will leave feeling relaxed & revitalised. The style is fresh and traditional antiques blend well with the contemporary furniture.
Health retreats play a strong part in Austrian medicine, blending conventional & alternative medicine and individually tailoring treatments. With a balance of conventional medicine & Mayr Therapy, it is not only the symptoms, but the cause that is treated at Parkhotel Igls and there is a concentration on general wellbeing and regeneration. Parkhotel's guests receive medical supervision from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave from the expert team of 8 doctors.
Parkhotel Igls know that it is important to take time out from the stresses of every day life, and with a minimum stay of a week, personally devised programmes and gorgeous surroundings, a peaceful experience will be had by all.
Accommodation
Parkhotel Igls has 51 beautiful rooms & suites from single standards to double deluxes and 2 suites, with a refreshing mix of traditional & contemporary design. All of the stylish & comfortable rooms are en-suite with double or king-size beds and balconies. Bathrooms have showers and/or baths and the deluxe rooms & suites have luxury bathrooms. Rooms range in size from 20 sqm to 43 sqm and the suites are 45 and 64 sqm, with separate living rooms. All rooms have flat screen televisions, DVD players on request, internet access, bathrobes and luxury bath products including a honey body wash & olive shampoo by Haslauer.
Activities
The Parkhotel Igls health retreat offers tailor-made treatments centred around Mayr Medicine. A healthy eating plan, exercise and treatments not only designed to cure, but to prevent ailments help guests to detoxify, relax and regenerate. Parkhotel Igls' staff know that a healthy lifestyle, exercise and a well-deserved rest are just what the doctor ordered and the effects will last far longer than the holiday.
Guests can use the indoor pool, sauna & gym facilities and of course, make the most of the expert advice of the medical team & staff. Parkhotel Igls is also great for a wide variety of sports including hiking, Nordic walking, mountain biking, snow-shoe walks, curling, tennis and golf, and Parkhotel has a specially devised golf programme to aid joints and muscles. Guests can also take part in yoga, aerobics, shiatsu and kybun training.
There are various treatment modules available including a basic programme for general wellbeing, musculoskeletal, heart & circulation and metabolism & detoxification programmes and there are also à la carte medical services for individual selection. Spruce up in the cosmetics department before relaxing in one of the cosy lounges, the library or the tea bar.
Dining
Parkhotel Igls serves up a menu of Modern Mayr Cuisine, which is specially adapted to individual requirements. Meals are light and designed to aid the digestive system and all is prepared from locally-grown organic produce. An initial examination will be made in which the doctor will map out the constitution of the guest and allergies or food intolerances will be noted. These revitalising meals are packed full of energy and will give guests a healthy kick to their day.
Rates
Rates at Parkhotel Igls are per week per room based on 2 people sharing and include all taxes. There is a minimum stay of 1 week and it is recommended to arrive on Sunday. At 5.30 pm the hotel welcomes guests with a tour of the premises and an introductory presentation at 8 pm. 5% is deducted for the 2nd week and 10% is deducted from the 3rd week. Day prices are available on request. Parkhotel Igls provide free transfer to Innsbruck Airport / Innsbruck Railway Station. Outdoor parking is free, underground parking is EUR 12 per day. Children are not accepted. Dogs are charged at EUR 15 per dog per day and a basket will be provided. An additional EUR 70 will be charged for special cleaning and dogs are not allowed in the communal area, hotel park or medical area.

Last minute cancellations will incur a cancellation charge of 50%.
