Kasbah Tamadot is Sir Richard Branson's Moroccan retreat with stunning views across the snowcapped Atlas Mountains. Bought by Sir Richard Branson in 1998, during one of his famous ballooning expeditions, Kasbah Tamadot is a magical walled building set on the side of the rolling hills of the Atlas Mountains. A short 45-minute drive from the city of Marrakech halfway between Asni and the pretty Berber mountain village of Imlil, Kasbah Tamadot features 27 beautiful bedrooms, suites and berber tents. Within its protective walls guests will find an intriguing and extensive complex comprising of courtyards, staircases, extensive grounds and exquisitely landscaped gardens. Kasbah Tamadot employs local Berber staff from the surrounding villages, giving guests a sense of staying in a Moroccan home rather than a hotel.

Accommodation

All of the 27 rooms, suites and berber tents at this luxurious hotel have king-size beds with en-suite bathrooms, some rooms feature outdoor terraces and balconies with panoramic views. In room: Bose clock radios/ CD players with a selection of CDs, bath robes, moroccan slippers (babouches), mini bars, safety deposit boxes, sun hats, ponchos, direct-dial telephones, heating and air-conditioning. Room service is available. The Master Suite, a 3 bedrooms replica of Kasbah Tamadot, away from the main building, can be hired exclusively and one of its rooms features a pool. Televisions, DVD players are available on request. The 4 new tented suites are perched on the hillside with far reaching views across the Atlas Mountains and the valleys below. Each tent features a king-size bed, large bathtubs, a terrace, sun loungers and outdoor dining.

Activities

Kasbah Tamadot has the following facilities: indoor heated pool, outdoor heated infinity pool, 2 tennis courts, a Virgin Touch beauty salon, traditional Hammam, a sauna, a gymnasium, a gift shop stocking souvenirs, a restaurant, roof top terrace, pool side terrace, outdoor private dining available.

Kasbah Tamadot can also arrange a variety pf excursions - visit the souks in Marrakech or the local market for a more rustic experience; further afield - day treks and scenic drives will include the stunning, contrasting scenery of this area; golf and horse riding.

Dining

Kasbah Tamadot is lucky to have such an experienced international chef who creates a variety of international and authentic Moroccan dishes available on an à la carte basis. There is also a fine selection of local &international wines and Champagne, along with all of the usual beverages you can expect to enjoy at a luxury hotel.

Rates at Kasbah Tamadot are per room, per night including taxes and breakfast. Single Rates Available. Exclusive use available. Rates up until April are in EURO, after April they are in MAD.

Festive Extra Nightly Rate:

Our rates over the festive time are based on all-inclusive. If you wish to stay more than 3 nights over this period our festive daily rate will apply. This rate also applies when booking shorter stays of one or two nights where available. Festive Daily Rates start from MAD 4,360 per person per night.
