About this Chic Retreat
Hotel V... is a 17th-century manor house in the enchanting Andalusian village of Vejer de la Frontera. Restored and decorated in a contemporary style, while maintaining a classic, mature ambience, the result is a cool hip hotel from which to explore the pretty village of Vejer, the beaches of El Palmar and the delights of southern Spain. Wonderfully-appointed in fine fabrics with a fabulous use of stonework, wood and glass, this 12-bedroom gem is a warm and inviting hideaway, perfect for a romantic retreat.
As soon as you step through the tall ebony and glass doors, the inviting and luminous entryway of this small luxury hotel transmits a sense of peace and tranquility. Well known architect and visionary Richard Meyer once said: Light is the essence of life". Using this quote as a constant reminder, owner and designer, Jean van Gysel brought the outside in, and the inside out, thus enhancing the color changes taking place during the day and during the different seasons.
Accommodation
This boutique hotel offers 12 stylish rooms divided into Classic Rooms, Superior Rooms and one Exclusive Room with a private terrace. Comfort, warmth and simplicity blend together to create a perfect peaceful haven. All the rooms are furnished with either queen, king, or twin beds with the finest linen, under-floor heating, air-conditioning, flat screen TV and DVD, complimentary WiFi and large bathrooms with shower and/or bathtub. The neutral earth tones create a delightful and soothing ambiance to enhance relaxation.
Activities
Enjoy the picturesque sights of Vejer while wandering through the historical part of town, or relax on the white sandy beaches of El Palmar, just a few minutes away.
