All of the 8 beautifully appointed en-suite rooms have superb lake and garden views, and tones of rich cream have been used to further enhance the serenity and relaxed ambiance.

Activities

Punctuated with old and new varieties of roses the gardens include a swimming pool with sunny terraces. A few steps on is a fascinating example of period garden design: great stepped terraces with wisteria draped arches lead up to a grotto, a favourite spot for drinks and weddings. Fishing trips leave from Kawaha Point Lodge's jetty and for the ultimate cultural experience, your hosts can organise a private Maori concert performance on the lawns.

Dining

Guests can choose to dine at the antique lodge table or at one of the many other private areas in the lodge which include the elegant conservatory and lakeside gardens. Kawaha Point has an extensive list of premium New Zealand wines is on offer to complement the delicious food.
