XVA Art Hotel has revamped its original boutique guesthouse into a simple but chic boutique Art hotel. XVA Art hotel has an award-winning vegetarian restaurant, and 6 designer-decorated rooms with WIFI, private en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning. XVA Art Hotel is located in the historical section of Dubai known as Bastakiya and is one of the smallest boutique hotels in Dubai. Bastakiya is the oldest settlement of expats in Dubai coming from Iran. The houses are approximately 100 years old and are built in Persian wind-tower style architecture made of coral stone. XVA has exhibited many renowned artists from the region as well as international artists. Previous artists include Moussa Tiba, Faisal Samra, Farideh Lashai, Halim al Karim, Nada Debs, Rainer Gross, Trudy Ouboter and Guiglio Cemin. In the short time since XVA has been open it has already been hailed as ‘ Dubai’s best kept secret’ and was featured in the Harpers Bazaar travel guide 2008. XVA has been the venue for many high profile events and launches of exclusive brands such as Hermes, Nokia, BMW and top organizations such as Al Tayer Group, Chalhoub Group, Arab Capital, Medecins Sans Frontieres and hosting the International Herald Tribune event for the Modern Luxury 2005.
