Hotel Detail
The Residenza Napoleone III is one of the most luxurious and unique boutique places to stay in Rome, situated in the 16th-century Palazzo Ruspoli on Rome’s legendary Via Condotti. The Residenza is named after Emperor Napoleon III, who lived here in 1830. Careful renovation has restored this luxury apartment to its original splendour. Guests enter the Palazzo through massive wooden doors and pass along an elegant arcade of Doric columns with ancient artefacts on display that were excavated on site. A grand marble staircase, lined with antique marble busts of Roman Emperors, leads up to the entrance of the opulent Residenza Napoleone apartment.
The welcome pack includes fresh fruit and Chianti from the vineyard at the Ruspolis' Tuscany estate. Guests also have the use of a phone and mobile phone during their stay.

Accommodation - 2 Rooms
The Residenza Napoleone III consists of 3 magnificent rooms, each more impressive than the next with antique furnishings, massive oil paintings, 16th-century tapestries, parquet floors and hand-stencilled walls. New in 2007 was the Blue Room which has been recently restored and is also an optional addition to La Residenza suite. The bedroom has a double bed and a very comfortable sofa bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower, bath and a small balcony. There is WIFI throughout as well as air conditioning, DVD, ipod player and maid service.
There is also now the Roof Garden Suite which has one of the most beautiful roof gardens overlooking the city, with a mulit-level decked terrace of over 600 square feet. To enter the suite guests climb a spiral staircase into the charming sitting room with stairs leading down to a very cosy small double bedroom. The bed is in an alcove and there is a lovely en-suite bathroom - this room is suggested for a young couple.
The master bedroom has a large canopied bed (73X77 ft) draped with beautiful fabrics and silks. One of the six huge oil paintings in the bedroom forms the headboard while another painting opens to reveal an exquisite marble bathroom.
The apartment has air conditioning, multi-language satellite TV, DVD and VCR, minibar, cordless phone, fax, hi-fi stereo, room safe and maid service.
A single room (perfect for a child) is also available by prior arrangement.
