Villa Magnolia is the newest chic retreat to open in Puglia. This small chic hotel opened in July 2008. Villa Magnolia is a charming hotel where clients can offset their carbon footprints by planting their own fruit trees! A noble villa dating back to the 18th-century, Villa Magnolia is set in 4 hectares of land full of ancient Olive trees and Almond groves in the heart of Puglia. Eco-sustainability is at the heart of life at Villa Magnolia, sun and light, renewable energies, the owners believe that real eco-tourism should be based on the best available technology in order to cause as little disturbance to the environment as possible.
Villa Magnolia produces energy from Photo Voltaic ' s fitted on the flat roof , the energy from these cells supports the operation of the Villa and supplies the national grid. The domestic hot water is generated from Solar Thermal Panels. Water is pumped from the artesian well (filled by rainwater) to supply the house and the beautiful Roman style salt water swimming pool and sunken Jacuzzi in the 'Temple' , an area for total relaxation.

Villa Magnolia has 4 vast rooms filled with beautiful period furniture from the 1800's. Luxurious Egyptian cotton bedlinen and the softest pillows are used on the beds. The en-suite bathrooms are modern with walk-in wet rooms and hydro jet shower. Organic soaps and products are used in all of the rooms.
Activities
In the grounds of Villa Magnolia there is a gorgeous roman-style salt water swimming pool with temple and sunken jacuzzi. Massages can be arranged outside or in the privacy of the room. Yoga courses are also available (pre-booking required) as are cooking courses. There are mountain bikes available at this small chic hotel and horse riding and golf are nearby. Fishing trips can be arranged during the Summer months.
Dining
On the estate of Villa Magnolia only organic produce is grown; courgettes, aubergine, peppers, tomatoes, grapes, oranges & lemons and of course olive oil. Dinner at the villa with the owners is optional and guests will be presented with the evenings menu in the morning to give them the choice.
