Accommodation - 9 rooms
All 9 suites are individually designed and furnished, large and luxuriously appointed with opulent en-suite bathrooms...some with 2 baths, some incorporating the chateau’s turrets. All rooms are in the main chateau building and have LCD TV and DVD player, bathrobes and fluffy white towels.
Activities
Chateau de la Couronne has 3 voluminous salons off the grand entrance hall, an Honesty Bar, a cinema with 9 foot screen, a billiard room and a music area with guitars, amps and keyboards. The Chateau is set in 5 acres of grounds complete with 14.5m heated swimming pool and a formal French garden, two terraces with tables and parasols and subtle outside lighting. There’s even a football pitch for the more energetic guests.
Within a few minutes drive guests will find karting, canoeing, horse riding and golf, as well as chateau’s to visit, caves to explore and charming villages to meander through. There are tennis courts 500 m from the chateau. A wide range of beauty treatments can also be arranged for a pampering treat.
Dining
Breakfast is served in your room or on the terraces. Start the day with fresh fruit, cheeses and freshly made coffee, with bread and pastries still warm from the village baker.
For those hiring the entire Chateau, there is also a huge dining hall which can accommodate up to 80 seated guests. Off the Dining Hall is a full professional restaurant kitchen for you to enjoy playing Chef in – or to watch our professional caterers prepare your meals for you if you prefer. Professional caterers can provide as many or as few meals in the dining hall as you require from breakfast to a casual buffet to a multi-course extravaganza.
There are two small restaurants in the village, whilst the lively old quarter of Angouleme is buzzing in the evenings with pavement cafes and restaurants.

Rates for 2010
Rates at Chateau de la Couronne are per suite per night. All taxes are included. Breakfast is 15 euros per adult and 10 euros for children 10 years and under. Extra bed is 40 euros per night.
PRIVATE HIRE: The whole chateau can be hired privately for a large group wishing to holiday together to sleep up to 26 guests.
WEDDINGS/SPECIAL EVENTS: Chateau de la Couronne can be hired privately for weddings/special events and tailored to specific requirements. Up to 80 guests can be catered for meals indoors, larger numbers can be catered for with the use of marquees in the private grounds.
