Accommodation - 11 rooms

The 9 rooms & 2 suites each reflect an element of Vermont's history. The 9 rooms are in the main house and each one is decorated with antiques and a selection of original art. Some rooms are classical, others traditional or subtley themed. What each of the rooms at Pitcher Inn have in common are the 'hidden' elements such as WIFI and concealed TVs and most of the rooms have cosy fires. The luxurious bathrooms all have jacuzzi bath tubs and underfloor heating and some of the bathrooms offer the luxury of private steam showers. The 2 suites are in the barn next door and are perfect for a family or 2 couples, each one with a living room and comfortable sitting area.

Activities

The choice of activities near Pitcher Inn are endless and they include something for everyone; tennis, ice skating, hiking, horse riding, nordic skiing, fishing, golf, canoeing, snowmobiling and even some activities we have never heard of such as 'Leaf Peeping' which sounds rather intriguing and a good option for those who are not into an adventurous sport. For those who want to be pampered, take a relaxing massage in-room or in the Pitcher Inn spa room.

Dining

We challenge you to find a fresher breakfast! Everything on the breakfast menu is made in-house using local ingredients wherever possible. The menus have French and Italian influences and change according to season and daily specials are prepared using the freshest market produce of the day. The meats used are all from suppliers in Vermont as are the fruit, vegetables and cheeses. Freshly baked cakes and cookies among other home-made delicacies are served for afternoon tea in the Library.

Rates for 2010

Rates at the Pitcher Inn are per room per night and based on double occupancy apart from the suites which are based on an occupancy of 4 people. Full breakfast and afternoon tea are also included in the rate Rates do not include 22% tax & service charge (9% Vermont state tax and 13% service charge). For single rate deduct USD 75.
