Angsana Riad Blanc is located in the heart of Marrakech's ancient medina opposite sister property Angsana Riad Si Said. The layout of the 8 rooms means Riad Blanc is very popular with families and the wealth of intricate zellig (traditional mosaic tile-work) makes this luxury riad an elegant introduction to authentic Marrakech. Children will spend most of their time enjoying the sunshine on the t2 expansive roof terraces, some of the highest in the city, with impressive views over the medina. The in-host or butler is happy to offer tips on the best boutique shops and stalls in the labyrinthine souk, book restaurants and daytrips for guests and suggest ways to introduce the whole family to the wonders of Marrakech before returning 'home' to Riad Blanc.

Riad Blanc has4 superior rooms, 2 deluxe rooms and 2 suites. All rooms have generous bathrooms and Angsana's luxurious, signature toiletries. No boutique hotel would be completed without a suite; at Riad Blanc the Moulay Ahmed suite is perhaps the most beautiful room in the entire Angsana riad portfolio thanks to its ancient, stained-glass windows, original lanterns and red-tiled bath.

Activities

In Riad Blanc both salons have open fires, making them cosy and intimate whatever the season. One of them has a satellite TV (a rarity in Marrakech riads) to keep children amused and for guests to catch up with the international news and crucial football matches. The 2 large terraces have sun-loungers, a heated swimming pool and a jet pool. There is a weekly Managers welcome cocktail. Golfers won't be disappointed as there are 3 golf clubs to choose from within 25 minutes of this small luxury riad.

Dining

Guests at Riad Blanc can choose between traditional Moroccan food and Thai dishes, a nod to the Angsana boutique hotel group's Asian origins. Dining can be arranged on the courtyard patio, in either of the salons or on the roof terraces and if guests feel like a change of scene, there's also the option of dining at sister boutique hotel Riad Bab Firdaus round the corner which has an extended menu.

Room Rates for 2009

Minimum 3 night stay. Min 5 nights over Christmas and New Year. Rates are subject to 10% service charge and 10% government tax. Rates are per room per night include breakfast. Extra beds where permitted are an additional cost of Euros 75 pluse 10% service charge and 10% tax per night. Child Policy: Infant (below the age of 2) utilizing a cot will be provided free of charge. Child between 2-11 years of age sharing a room with parents and using existing bedding will stay free of charge. Additional children sharing a room or suite with parents (if capacity allows) will be charged at the extra person rate.

Cancellation Policy
Check-in and Check-out times : from 1400 hrs and before 1100 hrs respectively (Late checkout will be accorded to guests at the discretion of the hotel and where available. However late checkout can be booked in advance until 6pm at 50% of the nightly room rate. . After this time a full night’s room rate applies. If late checkout is requested directly by the guest while on property rack rates apply).
