The hammam at the Riad Bab Firdaus is spacious by Marrakech standards and one of the main attractions of this luxury riad. Guests book it for exclusive use to enjoy the large jet pool and private therapy room where Moroccan or Thai massages aim to stimulate all five senses which is the mantra of all Angsana properties.

Dining

Luxury riads in Marrakech always have a roof terrace decked out with plants and sunloungers, but the one at Riad Bab Firdaus is unique in the city. The rooftop is covered by a custom-made, sealed tent which can be opened up in the summer months and houses the excellent fine-dining restaurant. There are 2 menus offering Thai and Moroccan cuisine. Signature dishes include Pastilla (a traditional Moroccan mille-feuille pie stuffed with pigeon) and brochette de kofta (kebabs) from Morocco, and Tom Kati Gai and vegetable or chicken Pad Thai. The food at this boutique hotel is excellent and attracts guests from the other Angsana riads Riad Si Said and Riad Blanc.

Rates for 2010

Minimum 3 night stay and 5 nights over Christmas and New Year. Rates are subject to 10% service charge and 10% government tax. Rates are per room per night include breakfast. Extra beds where permitted are an additional cost of Euros 75 pluse 10% service charge and 10% tax per night. Child Policy: Infant (below the age of 2) utilizing a cot will be provided free of charge. Child between 2-11 years of age sharing a room with parents and using existing bedding will stay free of charge. Additional children sharing a room or suite with parents (if capacity allows) will be charged at the extra person rate.

Check-in and Check-out times : from 1400 hrs and before 1100 hrs respectively (Late checkout will be accorded to guests at the discretion of the hotel and where available. However late checkout can be booked in advance until 6pm at 50% of the nightly room rate. . After this time a full night’s room rate applies. If late checkout is requested directly by the guest while on property rack rates apply).
