Dar les Cigognes provides a very high level of comfort together with personal, friendly service, and all staff speaks some English. Designed by one of Morocco’s best architects, Charles Boccara, the courtyard is designed with cool and soothing colours, while the rooms each take their cue from a different region of Morocco. Throughout, the decoration has remained true to the spirit of a traditional Marrakech riad creating a feeling of elegance and luxury, without sacrificing comfort, making this charming boutique hotel a real bijou.

Accommodation - 11 Rooms

There are just 11 rooms at Dar Les Cigognes, ensuring personal and discreet service. Each room has a unique design drawing from the rich artistic tradition of Morocco. Three types of rooms are available; Superior rooms, Deluxe Rooms and one Suite. One of the unique features of Les Cigognes is that many of the rooms can be used as twin rooms; The Zouak and Tataoui Superior rooms can be twinned; the Deluxe Silver Room and the Sahara Room can be twinned, therefore allowing families increased privacy and proximity. The owners' attention to detail is evident in every room where the guest's comfort is the priority; beds have a large duvet in the winter, summer blanket in the summer, two demi-duvet pillows, and two hotel-quality non-allergenic pillows. The bed linen is luxuruious cotton with a high thread count. Bathrooms have hand and bath soap as well as body lotion and plush towels. Although the metre thick walls regulate the extremes of temperature, in the winter, individual heating units keep the guests comfortable; in summertime, each room is provided with a standing fan unit. Guests will enjoy a complimentary fruit plate and a large bottle of still water in their room upon arrival, as well as turn down service every evening. Hot water bottles are placed in each bed in cold months. Laundry and dry cleaning services are available.

Activities

To destress and detox, there is no better way than to visit a traditional Moroccan steam bath, a hammam, and have a deeply relaxing massage or rub-down. Guests often combine a visit to the hammam, a truly cleansing experience, with a visit to our spa for a massage The Spa and treatment room is one of the most sublime rooms in Marrakech. Guests at Dar Les Cigognes have access to the swimming pool at the Sunset Club belonging to the Palmeraie Golf Palace free of charge. There you will find a magnificent pool, several restaurants, and one of the best golf courses in all of Morocco.
