Bought by Sir Richard Branson in 1998, during one of his famous ballooning expeditions, Kasbah Tamadot is a magical walled building set on the side of the rolling hills of the Atlas Mountains. A short 45-minute drive from the city halfway between Asni and the pretty Berber mountain village of Imlil, Kasbah Tamadot features 18 beautiful bedrooms & suites within its protective walls and guests will find an intriguing and extensive complex comprising of courtyards, staircases, extensive grounds and exquisitely landscaped gardens. Kasbah Tamadot employs local Berber staff from the surrounding villages, giving guests a sense of staying in a Moroccan home rather than a hotel.

18 rooms at this luxurious hotel have king-size beds with en-suite bathrooms, some rooms feature outdoor terraces and balconies with panoramic views. In room: Bose clock radios/ CD players with a selection of CDs, bath robes, moroccan slippers (babouches), mini bars, safety deposit boxes, sun hats, ponchos, direct-dial telephones, heating and air-conditioning. Room service is available. The Master Suite, a 3 bedrooms replica of Kasbah Tamadot, away from the main building, can be hired exclusively and one of its rooms features a pool. Televisions, DVD players are available on request.
